The bartenders act like you owe them something. Seems they will wait on males and ignore women patrons. They definitely need more tables or need to allow people to sit in the roped off VIP section.

While visiting from Atlanta, my sister decided to have a birthday gathering here. The place was nice, but trying to get service really sucked. The bar was packed, and it was only two bartenders, and it took a lot of effort to get their attention just to order food and drinks. We even bought a bottle just to sit in their VIP area since they didn't have ample seating. I thought buying the bottle would at least get a hostess or someone to check on us, but that didn't happen. Maybe the VIP service is just different in ATL.I'm not sure if I'll ever come back here, but maybe this review will prompt some minor changes.

I was just there on December 30,2023. For years These female bar tenderers have these nastiest attitudes I’ve ever came across! They only serve men first because I guess they feel only men tip. Which is not the case. I shouldn’t have to ask a man to get the bartender’s attention for me to get a drink. If you’re a female, They look at you up and down to make you feel uncomfortable and never ask you what you would like. No etiquette, no class, no respect for the PAYING CUSTOMER. Take your business elsewhere, try 4 Eleven lounge(old applebees). Look into the Sam sylks lounge for a MORE MATURE crowd. I sat there on Saturday waiting patiently for service for 35 mins! I came in with my family ready to spend money and celebrate… we were never served! we had to leave and go to Another local bar, where we had No problems getting service with the first 10 tens of being seen at exquisite in southgate. Never again 228.

The bartenders are very slow. They only seem to accommodate the ones they know. If they don't know you you'll be waiting awhile or you'll finally leave. We waited over 30 minutes trying to get the barmaid attention while she twerked. We left!.
