I do enjoy the pizza at Donato's. I typically have decent service and the food is usually consistently good. So I gave a 4 star for the food and the place is usually fairly clean. However, I am dissatisfied with the service. I tried to place an order over the phone, and it's now automated. So the first thing it says is you can get 2, 1 topping pizzas for 26.99. The pizza was fantastic. Service was fast. The atmosphere was just so so. Like most small places, the atmosphere, post election infection, was stale and uncomfortable, but the pizza is still awesome.
Was not a big fan of the new bakery style pizza. Found it to be overly heavy on bread which was burned on the edges( not in a good way). Staff was very friendly and would go back to this location but order something different. Garlic butter sauce was very good.
