On a whim we decided to meet our children and grandchildren half way between us in Columbus and them in Lima. We decided on a pizza place but it was closed when we got there. So I Yelped, of course, to find another restaurant near by. LUCKY for us we found The Syndicate! The restaurant is nice, airy and comfortable and when we said we were a party of 7 the woman seating us didnt bat an eye which was a huge relief as we had 3 small hungry children. They seemed to be a bit understaffed but our server and the young man helping her were so insanely nice and patient we felt well treated. Now it's not an inexpensive place BUT there is a difference between value for money and cheaper. Value for money, to us, is an interesting menu selection that delivers and delivers with taste and freshness. We plan on going back just to work our way through the menu. I had gnocchi that was pillowy and sublime. My husband and SiL had the pork schnitzel that they raved about and my daughter had the salmon with shrimp which was so generous she took half of it home. Now two things that are super pluses THE BEST CARROT CAKE any of us have ever had including the one I make and the chocolate cake was actually my fave because it was not overly sweet and you taste the cocoa. They have a full bar with a nice wine selection. Thank you The Syndicate for dinner last night you made 7 people very, very happy.

This is an awesome little place with great food. The fish and chips was one of the best I've had. We went in tonight on a very tight schedule and the server was very kind and accommodating. I travel and eat out constantly, and Andy L. was probably the best server I've ever had at a restaurant. The whole experience greatly exceeded my expectations. I'll be stopping there any time I'm in the area.

As someone who has lived in and traveled to many large cities, I had an amazing experience at the Syndicate which rivaled those at many great establishments across the country. The cocktails were amazing - the mixologist definitely knew his stuff. The staff members were all knowledgeable and had stellar customer service skills. Then, there is the food. Freaking awesome. My party raved about the spinach and artichoke dip. The French onion soup: delicious. Ahi tuna and Candied Bacon Deviled Eggs: on point. And everyone else loved their meals. The only downside is that this place isn’t open every single day. If you live in the area and haven’t been: go. If you are traveling through Thursday through Sunday brunch: stop in. This place is my new favorite in Logan County. Kudos to the owner, manager, and entire staff.

In need you to help me, help you, help me.... by reopening Saturday morning brunch. This is the 3rd time I have gone to the syndicate and it's been closed, to busy to seat me or no longer serving the mimosa flights. This is the whole reason I come here. How are we supposed to support our local shops with drunk shopping on Saturday? Most of them are closed on Sunday. Please help us support our community.

Upscale food in our small town. I got the organic roasted lemon and garlic half chicken and my husband got the 8 ounce sirloin. My husband raved on the cook of the steak and said it was seasoned very well. My chicken came with root vegetables and smashed potatoes. The smashed potatoes were very good and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We sat at the bar, and the bartender, who waited on us was very attentive, and very polite. I wish I could remember his name, but I don’t. I would recommend this place.

Everything that graced our table was delicious. The pork belly is a must-share, as I don’t think the average person could consume all that on their own! This was my first visit, so I’m not sure how often the menu changes out. But I have a feeling that it will be easy to come back and explore more of the offerings!

This place is top notch. My wife and I have been here twice and love every bit of it. The drinks are astoundingly well made and the food is on another level.The staff is kind and the waiters/waitresses are quite punctual on their performance.The experience my wife and I have here keep us coming back.
