We stayed one night at Wishmaker House and would definitely stay again. We received a warm welcome with a tour and were taken to our room. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. We loved enjoying cocktails on the beautiful patio and later watching the sunset from our balcony. We did not have the opportunity to eat during our stay but we did see food being served on the patio and it looked delicious. Everything about our stay was great!

We love this place!! The food and atmosphere is excellent. They also have a fantastic assortment of cheesecakes.

Brought friends from out of town, somewhat disappointed. The charcuterie board was beyond disappointing. Pickles and plain cheese with crackers . The steak salad used to have potatoes in it and now it’s very bland for $21 got soggy from the jarred roasted peppers. They’ve definitely had better.

Over $40 for a highly mediocre meal—two small pieces of sour avocado toast, one chicken finger with Belgian waffles, and a small portion of undercooked potatoes, it came with cheesecake which was great. No price on the menu, not worth $10. My disappointment with the Mother's Day brunch was immense. Would not recommend. My family and I felt ripped off.

I drove all the way from Ashtabula County down for Mother’s Day. We had a party of 10 and we waited over an hour to be seated after we had made reservations. Then we were told that it was a limited menu and it was $50 a person there was no way we were paying that. We left and went down the road to a very nice bar and had a wonderful dinner and entertainment. Their menu is way overpriced way way overpriced for what you get.

Just left the Wishmaker restaurant in Bellville for Mother's Day. The menu has no price on it and we were told it was $49.99 per person!!!! Appetizer, entree and choice of cheesecake. We were there almost two hours. I wasn't impressed. I won't be back but here are some suggestions - put the price on the paper or when people call to make reservations tell them the cost. The also add 4% if you use a credit card. In my opinion the 4% they charge is just part of doing business!

Not only are the food and accommodations fabulous but so is the service (especially Cortney)

It was perfect for celebrating our anniversary with a weekend away!

Very nice. The food is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The coffee is very very good. All of that aside, the best feature of this place, is the people. From Donnie, Jen, Kat, Hannah, Bethany (that's all I remember), and the rest. EVERY person made us feel more than welcome. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Wow is all we can say! We went to the restaurant only for our anniversary. Hanna, our server was friendly and informative, she took a lot of photos of us for us! Kathryn, the General Manger was also very nice, communicative, and friendly! The food was really good, the wines we tasted were nice, and the cheesecakes were superb!

A mid-day lunch with the ladies. Food seems quite overpriced and underwhelming. Not a place to stop if in a hurry, service is slow.

Drove an hr to eat here due to the igloo experience because of family in town. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The igloo was completely swamped inside and smelled like mildew. Service was terrible, the menu was awful and lacked a kids menu so we had to order them off the overpriced adult menu and they complained of still being hungry afterwards. My daughter ordered the half-chicken.. they were out of that, then we ordered her the lasagna and they came back after all of us had our food to say that it was dropped on the floor and that was the last piece. We were stuck getting her potstickers off of the appetizers and they tried to make it better by saying they were going to comp the lasagna.. which we never got! Like no kidding! The manager was rude to my wife and just explained she was filling in and there was nothing she could do. This place was a joke… $170 dollars for 3 adults and 3 children and everyone left hungry and disappointed to say the least. Never will go here again. I dont usually leave reviews but we went here because of the good reviews so i feel obligated to leave a bad one.

We drove a long way to dine in a completely flooded swamp igloo when it hadn’t rained all day and it was the first time I’ve ever left a restaurant without a to-go box the portions were so small. There was a 30 minute wait on drinks. After the server took our order she came back to tell us they were out of half of what we ordered. We reordered. Everyone’s food but my daughters came out just for them to say that they broke the lasagna plate and they are now completely out of that as well. We were given our food to eat without her and they asked her to order a THIRD different item. At the end of the night the server stated that we still would be charged for what my daughter did receive for food but that she removed the lasagna from the bill… which we never got, so that should be obvious. We asked for the manager, Stephanie, who came out and was rude to us. She told us that it is against their policy to take off food to make up for the horrible experience and notified us in a condescending manner that in regard to the flooded igloo, that she isn’t the one who controls the weather, and laughed. It wasn’t funny, we drove an hour to dine in a flooded igloo, have horrible service, and eat small portions separately. I’m glad our kids still had a good time hanging out with their grandma but we definitely won’t be back.
