The Hill is the perfect little country dive bar. The locals are great, and the menu is good for a small little bar. All the fun and laughs!

Best establishment East of the Mississippi River. Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary. We shared some Busch beers over a few bags of salt n vinegar chips. I even gave her 3 dollars to put in the jukebox as an anniversary gift.

I grew up hearing stories about the drunken escapades of my uncles and dad at Tater Hill (and other fine drinking establishments in the area). Even my Mom remembers having to drag her father out of this place when she was young. I'd driven by Tater Hill countless times, but I had never been there. It's a small, nondescript building on a state route otherwise lined with houses and farms. It's the middle of nowhere. There's not even a sign outside. It looks like a storage building or something. Just driving by, you'd never know if it was open or not. You'd never even know it was a bar. You wouldn't be compelled to stop there unless maybe your car was on fire or you were being chased by zombies and wre desperate to get inside, perhaps. No one is going here unless they live nearby. This is a place for local dudes drinking beers, and nothing else. Yelp ratings have zero impact on a place like Tater Hill. This is mostly written for my entertainment. Features include a warped pool table, and a dart board. and local dudes drinking their beers. The address appears to be 10212 State Route 113, Berlin Heights, OH 44814. It's just East of Wright Road. Man, this place is ROUGH. or whatever one step beyond rough might be. I love hole in the wall divey bars, but this was the diviest of the dives. Sticky and/or broken and/or mismatched bar stools. Didn't look like it had been cleaned much over the years. Years of cobwebs and dirt in the windows. Margarita glasses that haven't seen a margarita in years and covered in dust. It smelled like someone has been smoking cigarettes there for 60 years straight and never stopped once. My curiosity was satisfied. I will never forget Tater Hill because (1) it has a great name; and (2) it was the grungiest place I've ever been. Despite everything, I bet a LOT of weird shit goes down at Tater Hill. I have the distinct feeling that any crimes that occur at Tater Hill are never reported. I wish they had a webcam for public viewing. I'd happily watch (from afar).

Stop by for a cold one on your way back to the trailer park. I think there are still guys here from my high school who will beat me up if I come in.
