The staff is terrible there’s a woman that sits at that front desk that is beyond rude and she needs watch what she says if she not willing to repeat it when someone walks away. You don’t treat people like that.

Today was the first time my kids and I had been to the dining hall. We really enjoyed the service; all of the staff were so helpful and kind. There were so many offerings for lunch that everyone of us found something tasty to eat. My boys especially loved the ice cream bar! We will be back again. ?

I’ve seen something very disturbing and embarrassing. A player on the womens basketball team was told to sit in the bleachers behind her teammates. This player is black and the racial statements it sent was horrific. There were also two other white players who didn’t play but sat on the bench with there teammates. The young lady who was black sat behind the bench. When this young lady asked her coaches again at halftime can I sit on the bench with my teammates, she was told no, you are good where you are. I noticed that there was 4 empty chairs where she could of sat. This young lady was in tears and embarrassed and demoralized and disrespected. Other parents, spectators and friends also noticed this and asked why she wasn’t sitting with her teammates, she only said, the coaches told me to sit behind the bench. After the game I tweeted what I saw and how wrong this was. The next day the young lady was removed from the team and asked to come back and play next year. She was also told that I will not deal with your mother at all. I made some calls totally upset with this and since my telling her story I’ve been blocked from capital womens basketball twitter. They removed her from the roster like nothing ever happen. This was wrong and no child of any color deserves to go through this. The head coach Dixie Jeffers made this statement during halftime in the locker room. We are a blue collar team, we are high maintenance and we need structure. This young lady received no apology at all. The first game of her college career and her dreams were crushed. The damage they have done to her is unacceptable period. Coach Jeffers should needs to be removed.
