This is best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. The crust on the quiche is flaky and the filling is delicate. The donuts don’t even taste gluten free. The staff is friendly, welcoming and kind. The vibe is relaxed. And bonus- the prices are reasonable.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free.

Cherbourg Bakery is my first suggestion whenever I meet someone who’s newly diagnosed with celiac or gluten intolerance. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and desperately want to give 5 stars, but can’t overlook a few cleanliness concerns. I know it’s difficult especially during warmer months, but some sort of way to repel bugs (such as fans or air curtains) is needed. I saw several large gross flies landing on and feeding on the products. It really spoils your appetite.

Also, employees assemble pastry boxes and papers with bare hands in between handling the cash and checkout tablet.

Besides these two issues, everything is great. It’s hard to spend less than $25 per visit because of so many appealing choices. Even my gluten eating friends and family say the espresso brownies and chocolate chip cookies are better than “regular” desserts.

I have no words other than it’s phenomenal. I look forward to going when in town. The strata and the olive oil loafs are so good!

Always gluten and nut free. Always charming. Always delightful. By far the best GF baked goods in greater Columbus. The carrot cake is a must!

Wow!! First time in today. The workers were extremely helpful and kind, but more importantly, the baked goods were amazing! It’s hard to believe they were gluten free, they were so delicious. I like that they weren’t overwhelmingly sweet either, I don’t normally eat sugar, and I didn’t feel bad after all after my little binge.

Dishonest and unprofessional owner. Think twice before you visit.

Breakfast strata is always delicious, but it goes fast! All pastries are nut free.

We made a special trip from Ashland. I've been to the Cherbourg in Cincinnati which is awesome. This location I won't be returning to. The customer service was great but the product was clearly day old. The cookies tasted like they were several day old. The loaf was tasteless. The cupcake tasted stale as well. So very disappointing considering the hour drive and cost of items. No excuses do better.

Uniquely Authentic

I had to get up early this morning to go to an important appointment and was on this side of town, so I decided to stop in for the first time to look around. I was able to try a cute little citrus lavender heart powdered sugar muffin ? .This coffee shop reminds me of a French inspired café with marble buffet tables and seats outside the entrance. I should have also walked down the street and also got me some Grater's ? ? ☺️?... A must for the summer! ? ?Cute side of town to visit every once in awhile. I should have taken a picture of the pretty heart powered muffin in a cute little brown box, but since it was a busy day ahead I forgot, and just rushed and ate it, lol. Maybe next time. ???
