I have always enjoyed the food at the restaurant. However... I drove my 11 year old grandson 2 hours to see the museum. Only to find out that it was closed and has been since covid. I did not see this information on any website. Disappointed in that. However we did walk thru the village and see the ponies. Even had a baby pony .
The museum closed during COVID and hasn’t reopened. So it’s basically a DIY walk around the farm. Good they have the informational signs.We stopped to see the farm and (now defunct) museum. Only got a coffee to go at the restaurant. Staff was very friendly.
The Bob Evans Restaurant and Museum is a great place to get a fairly quick bite and learning a little history as well. Located right off Hwy 35 about 1 1/2 miles off the highway near Rio Grande, Ohio. Breakfast all day. Sausage and Bacon was exceptional. The Turkey Dinner provide a Thanksgiving vibe with dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Staff was polite and attentive. Expect to spend 45 minutes or so for meal.
