The only reason it gets stars is for Bob and Jewel Evans and their good Family name. What's happened to this restaurant chain since the last member of the Evans Family left the board is sad. When I was younger, it was the only place to go and was excellent. Now, it's a Denny's with a faux western/farm decor and no character, in style or taste. It was great... And I was young. Neither are true anymore. Find a local dive and get a real hearty hometown breakfast.
We showed up at 2pm after waiting for over an hour at another restaurant in the area and not getting lunch. We told our server about the horrible situation we had came from, she was understanding and quick about getting us our food. Everything tasted good, they gained some new patrons. Only complaint was the less than stellar snow removal getting into the parking lot.

Didn't give my meal side items in my to go order. They handed me my food in a stapled shut bag which led me to not check right away. I would recommend verifying order with customers

I purchased a cranberry pecan chicken salad which was very small, and my daughter got the chicken strips and broccoli which were excellent.

Our first visit, Thanksgiving breakfast. The food and hot beverages were better than expected. The service for 6 people was amazing. Ms Tammy was attentive and took good care of us with a smile. She made this visit very special for our family. Thank you Ms. Tammy!

Takeout breakfast order. Sausage gravy and 2 biscuits. My Sausage gravy was watered down with no flavor, and my biscuits had no butter. I was OK with Bob taking the Sausage Gravy out the grocery stores so long as it was still available at the restaurant. Now I'm being served some alternate reality version that pales from the original Cincinnati Iconic version. No Sir, you will not pee down my leg and tell me its raining. Do better Bob 🤨

Just like when I was growing up. This hasn't gone downhill the same way another Country restaurant has, in my opinion. Biscuits were delicious, and I'm salivating just writing this review.😋

I stopped for dinner after work Monday night 9/22/25. My dinner was a fabulous tasting made from scratch dinner. Turkey, dressing, potatoes and carrots, awesome !! What really made my dinner even better was the wonderful service from my waitress and cashier / hostess. I did not get their names but they are wonderful young ladies who excel at what they do. I applaud them. This location can be extremely proud to have people as wonderful as these two to represent them. Great job !!! Thank you ladies
