If this location wants better reviews, they should likely consider offering better service and better shift management.

The main issue with our recent pick up order isn't the fact that it was completely wrong and had an ingredient that I'm allergic to (it was likely another customer's order). Or that it wasn't ready when we arrived and the items were barely wrapped due to the rush. Things happen.

But the rude and unhelpful service we received when calling the store and speaking to shift leader Raven? If you like unapologetic, flippant and dismissive management, this is the Bruegger's location for you. If you prefer good customer service to go along with the food you purchase, you may want to choose a different location. Or just go to Marx, Skip's, The Bagelry, etc. - lesson learned!

Went today to get an Asiago cheese bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, I asked for it toasted it looked like it was made at 6 this morning and put in the toaster for two seconds. I decided to eat it there and as I was eating one of the employees says to me we’re closed but take your time. Now I looked online and it says they close at 2:00 pm, it was 1:25 when she said this to me. Then as I’m leaving a woman pulled in and went to the door but they had it locked, it was 1:27 at this point. I’m sure she also thought they closed at 2:00. So I’m confused do they just close when they feel like it or what?

I love Bruegger’s. The particular store has been on the struggle lately. The last time I went, they cautioned me. They only had certain bagels. They didn’t even have plain ones. It was about 11:30. so prime lunchtime.
Today, I was there about the same time. I went into the bathroom, it obviously not had attention for a very long time. There was no toilet paper and the trash was overflowing. Whoever did not do their job.
When I mentioned to a staff person, they were out of toilet paper, she said, this is why we’ve been closing at one instead of two because the whole place needs a makeover. If they’re going to close at one, they should change their hours on the public website. When I insisted this was no excuse for no toilet paper, she said I was the first person who said anything. That may be the case, but it should’ve started the day stocked. There were literally three empty rolls in there.
Whoever is managing this place is doing a terrible job.

Website is not accurate! Tried to get a bagel at 7am and they were NOT open. Website says they open at 6. Very unfortunate. Called and the message said to check the website for hours so I assumed it was up to date.

Would NOT recommend food from this location. Wish I would have read the recent reviews from here before ordering thru door dash. I ordered 2 simple bagel breakfast sandwiches & both were wrong. The wrong bagel on 1, paid for 2 eggs on both but only had 1 on each & asked for no cheese & had melted cheese on both. The receipt on the bag was correct so I conclude the people working here can't read or don't care, or both. BUYER BEWARE!

I have given this place chance
after chance. The employees just don’t care. I get a western, have for years. Over the last year or so it has been sloppy, missing ingredients each and every time. How hard is it to put 5 ingredient on a bagel?!

Good lord what a hot mess. I’ve been coming here for a few years and has always been decent but today was a bad experience.

The space was dingy and dirty. We waited a long time for 3 toasted bagels. The bagels were smashed and cut poorly. $12 for these is crazy. Yuck!

Super dissapointed with this location. My order was completely wrong. I got 2 different bagel sandwhiches not even remotely close to what I ordered which both were a sloppy mess. They also forgot my side which I had to go inside and ask for. I wish I would have noticed that my order was wrong before taking off.

I placed and paid for an online order for bagels in the morning for an afternoon pick up. The store is 33 miles from home. The order was around $40.00. When I arrived at the store they told me they had sold out of onion bagels. I was also told that my order took two hours to be delivered to their inbox. Not a great experience at the Bagel shop. Also tried to call the store and the automated system says they can’t answer the phone then proceeds to hang up on you.
I replied on the corporate site a requested with no response.

This 1* review is NOT about the staff. They were excellent.

The review is about the condition of the space, especially the bathroom.

Significantly peeling seal on the toilet seat. Toilet paper dispenser formerly held closed with a To-go food sticker, now ripped so it falls on the “customer.” Broken urinal and paper towel dispenser (each not as big a deal on their own; in combination, further indicative of disinvestment and lack of stewardship).

And I’m sure this isn’t on the manager either.

Whoever owns the building - be it Bruegger’s Corporate or some slumlord - needs to get their act together and fix what’s broken.

And to whatever poor PR soul has to respond to this: I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have to make boilerplate excuses for the jerk who owns this.

Update: they just asked me to reach out to them at the “contact us” and update the review if it was resolved. I had previously already sent this same information to the contact us 10 hours ago. And I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they haven’t fixed the bathroom yet…
