The BBQ at CityBBQ is generally pretty lousy: substandard cuts of meat badly cooked (steamed it seems, not smoked like real BBQ.) You don't want to go there for the food. However, they were selling an excellent Bruce Cost Ginger Ale that I would order by the case. Unfortunately, as of 4/9/24, they almost DOUBLED the price of the ginger ale -- yeah, I said DOUBLED!!, all at one stroke. So this customer -- who was loyal despite the bad food -- will never set foot in another CityBBQ. Take my advice and avoid their over-priced, undercooked offerings. You can make much better BBQ at home for way less money.

So I have been here several times and never had a problem. This I pick up carry out and decided to try their desserts. I got the banana pudding and peach cobbler. Got home and decided to taste pudding, container only partially filled, took it back and the gave me a container filled properly. Silly me didn’t look at cobbler, it was burnt and dry, should have taken it back but didn’t feel like going back out the house. Never will I get desserts from them, should not have been sold!

Fantastic half chicken, brisket, and ribs!!! Huge portions. Come with an appetite.
I've already informed the company of the issues that we had (and they gave me an in-store credit), but the portion size for the new pastrami sandwich was ridiculously small compared to what's advertised... There was more bread than meat to an extreme sense. Plus, they forgot aspects of the meal that were ordered. Take out from this location is very hit and miss. The potato salad and hush puppies are always tasty though.
