I called & made a delivery order for my teenage son (I was down the road at an event). We live a 1/4 mile away but it was at night & I didn't want him to walk up there.I placed the order at 8:13p & they said it would be there "in about 30 minutes". I called back at 9p & they said they got busy, it was the next one out, & would be 25 minutes or less.I then called back at 9:38p to ask what was going on. I was told the pizza has been done, but they haven't had a DoorDash driver pick up the delivery (meaning a DoorDash driver hadn't even claimed it yet).Here's my thing...if you don't actually deliver the pizza & depend on a 3rd party company to do that...you need to let people know. Don't say it's going to be there in a certain amount of time if no one has even claimed the delivery. I told them to cancel the delivery & refund me the delivery fee & tip because I'd have my son walk there to pick it up.I was obviously aggravated during my 3rd call & the most infuriating thing is no Marcos employee (I spoke to two of them) Offered an apology.I started writing this review immediately. As I was finishing the last paragraph, I get a text saying the DoorDash driver had picked up the pizza so I called back immediately. They told me the pizza had just been picked up. I said "Why? I told you to cancel the delivery & now my son is halfway to the store. So now the pizza will be sitting on my porch getting cold as my son turns around to head back home!"I finally got a half-hearted apology.Being the closest pizza spot to our house, we've gone there a ton. Never again.Final complaint, I asked for "contact less delivery" & the DoorDash guy kept ringing the doorbell at our house.What in the world is going on at this store? Unreal. I probably still got charged the $5 delivery fee & $5 tip I left for a $13 order from a store that's (again) less than 1/4 mile from my house.Never again.

I ordered the hot honey pizza and it tasted like a regular pepperoni pizza nothing like honey hot. I also got the garlic parm wings and the sauce is not my favorite.

Order was due at noon, three phone calls later, it was finally delivered at 1:15pm. First excuse, they were slammed with orders, second excuse was GPS took the driver to a different location. No reach to say they were lost until five minutes before it came. Regular side salads came with two packets of dressing while family size salad came with one dressing. Hot food came cold. Driver got snippy and defensive when we stated how late it was, she denied it was that late. We were told to call in fifteen minutes to see about a discount on future purchase but a half hour later called (a little extra time since they were running late) but we had to leave a message to return our call).
