Parking is a MAJOR pain, but love this place!
Delicious food, lovely staff, cool atmosphere.
Atmosphere isn’t bad. Employees are very friendly just not the most competent. Food wasn’t great, especially relative to price. I get the focus on bees and natural ingredients, which is great, but it ruins some things that are simple staples such as ketchup, which tasted like play-doh. It ruined my eggs and potatoes. Somewhat my fault for putting it on there before tasting. Pancake and syrup were great, though. Had to ask a handful of times for an orange juice and silverware.
Such a neat place, staff was very friendly and our food was quick and delicious!
Great Breakfast out on the patio
Came in while visiting from out of town. what a great introduction to Blue Ash - and Cincinnati as a whole.
Service was fast, and efficient. Very sweet staff and accepting environment, which is beautiful to see in a day and age where our political administration threatens freedom of expression.
And the food!! Wow! Both my husband and I absolutely loved the food. The menu is diverse, inexpensive, and the food was GREAT! Will definitely return next time we are in the area.
I’ve always been a big fan of Sleepy Bee, and it’s been my go-to spot for breakfast, but lately I’ve noticed a significant drop in quality.
Today, despite barely any traffic, we waited a long time for our food, only for the eggs to arrive overcooked. The waitress didn’t inform us about recent menu changes, including sauces now costing extra. Paying $15 for smashed potatoes, eggs, and bacon without the sauce doesn’t feel worth it, as the sauce was key to the unique flavor.
I hope you can address these issues, and my experience because I’d really like to keep coming back.
We love Sleepy Bee but were so disappointed with the food this time and probably won’t be back. The only thing that was good was the pancake. The eggs were rubbery and overcooked, sausage was thin and hard, and potatoes no longer come with nectar sauce. We came on a weekday morning when it was not crowded at all and waited like it was a busy weekend for food.
Waitress offered us sauce options after we complained but my potatoes were cold by the time she checked on us.
Came for breakfast with friends on a Friday, one of whom is gluten free. I got the worker bee with tofu scramble, vegan goetta, toast, and a side of fruit. Like others mentioned, the portion sizes are pretty small—the fruit was maybe 6 blueberries, 6 grapes, and a couple slices of banana—but was pretty tasty! Next time I’ll try their other savory vegan breakfast option. If you’re starving you may want to order an extra side or something (or if you’re vegetarian, the pancakes are pretty huge!). But this was great for eating with multi-diet friends!
After a considerable wait, 80% of my breakfast was burnt to the point it was not edible. Manager could clearly see the burnt food took the plate and only offered half off my meal. Did not have the time after the initial wait to wait for a redo. Would not recommend, I guess this place is hit and miss as far as what you’ll get, find a more trusted restaurant.

Sleepy Bee is a go to brunch place. The food is always outstanding and I don’t think there’s anything on the menu that is bad. On the weekends I would recommend putting yourself on the waitlist before you get there because they are always busy (with good reason).

I am convinced this place is posting their own reviews or paying to have good reviews added because the food is AWFULLLL! No flavor it was so bland! I had the blue ash smash it tasted like pesto on bread even the bacon was bland - please save your money and go somewhere else if you like flavorful food - on the bright side the staff was nice and the place was clean but the food Iran’s worth anything

Cute little spot. I was a bit confused walking in as the main entrance goes to several businesses. Walk through the main door and go down about halfway and the entrance is on the right. Food was good and our waitress was wonderful. I did get the nutty cakes it had a fresh sliced banana, peanut butter, and the pancakes have chocolate chips in them.
Parking: Not very many spaces when it is busy as there are other businesses there.

Best pancakes you will find! Very nice staff and management
Excellent food with good service. However, the cooking appliance alarms kept going off without anyone to turn them off. Ridiculous and obnoxious! Don't plan to return.
