I'm not the type of person who easily gets dissatisfied. However, this time my experience was pretty bad the workers here. It seemed like they could care less. They weren't very friendly. My server herself was not too bad. She checked up on us and made sure our drinks were refilled.Then got the food out to us quickly however, the general atmosphere was just really awkward and weird. At 1 point I went to the bathroom. one of the workers came in on their phone calling. Someone making noises clapping with their hands and smacking their hand against the wall in the bathroom. While, me and another customer were in there the food itself was not very good. The appetizers were fine. But the actual meals, we're no better than microwaved meals. For me, I asked for no bacon bits on my Mac and cheese. There were all over it. My fries and chicken with and the Mac and cheese or lukewarm at best. After about 3 or 4 minutes, they were cold. My girlfriend's food was not very good either, and the same thing, after only a couple minutes, it was cold to the touch. Like I said, i'm not one to complain, but I expected it a lot better and I don't think I'll be coming back to the Boardman location.

My wife and I are out celebrating our anniversary and came here for dinner. The lady at the bar (Steph) is super amazing! They are short staffed tonight clearly and this woman is taking care of half the restaurant! She is AMAZING!

I pay for extra sauce - no extra sauce. I've reached a point where I no longer expect for my order to be correct at these national chains. Shame on me for wasting more money here when I should've known better from experience.

To start this, our server Evan was incredible and this review is not a reflection of him. However, this was genuinely one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The server that “welcomed us” couldn’t have been more unwelcoming or rude. We sat down and ordered the food, only to have an absurdly long wait while they kept seating tables they clearly didn’t have the staff to take care of. The food came out and was on par with microwaveable dinners, which for as long of a wait we experienced is incredibly sad. To add on to that the men’s restroom was DISGUSTING. In general cleanliness it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Save yourself an immensely disappointing dinner and eat elsewhere.

A little preface here as I want to establish something. I used to work in the service industry so I tend to have more leniency than the average customer when it comes to complications and so forth. Unfortunately, I have no leniency for outright rudeness and that’s what my family experienced upon walking in yesterday. My family decided to go out to dinner yesterday as my brother just got back from a long deployment and we hadn’t seen him in over 6 years. Granted, I felt guilty walking in as a 6 top, but we intentionally went before the dinner rush time to avoid that overwhelming pressure that can ensue when busy and a larger party walks in. Upon walking in, there were two young women standing at the host stand, the smaller of the two gave my family a dirty look and loudly expressed “I don’t even want to deal with these customers right now.”. Off putting, unwelcoming, uncalled for. She then grabbed the menus, half heartedly put them on the table and rushed off. The other woman at the stand, tried to apologize for her behavior. You have no need to apologize, you are not responsible for another’s actions. Our waitress that did approach us was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Unfortunately for my brother and I, who were the two to hear what the hostess said, felt uncomfortable and agitated by the hostility we were greeted with. I don’t expect fine dining service or food from Applebee’s, but I do expect some aspect of civility upon walking into any business. I’m grateful that the rest of my family didn’t have to experience the tension that had formed due to this as I still wanted them to enjoy the evening and be excited over my brother returning home for the brief weekend he had with us. To the host at this Applebee’s, I may not live in the area but my parents do, and I’m disgusted that they have to experience such hostility just for simply wanting to have a meal. To the server, thank you for your grace and professionalism. I hope others can look to you as an example. The only saving grace for this review not being 1 star, is due to the server we had and the food being acceptable.

The food is good. The service is very good, the staff are friendly but my husband always asks for a drink without ice, they bring it with ice. And whenever I am at the end of the meal I intend to order dessert but before that happens the bill to pay is already on my table. I find the bathroom very cramped and dirty.
Got there at 11:20pm, they close at midnight. Kitchen closes at 11:45pm. They didn't rush us but we made sure we were out by midnight. Food was good service was great. Jenna was wonderful
