I had been to this location before and had no complaints, however my experience was not as good this time around, despite no other customers present. I had a buy one get one free coupon this time, which I used to buy 2 barbacoa bowls for lunch.
I like a lot of stuff in mine and ordered my usual: rice, beans, barbacoa, fajita veggies, drizzle of hot sauce, lime juice, cilantro, pico, corn salsa and salsa verde, lettuce, cheese blend. I don’t always order guacamole, but I chose to this time. The employee making my bowl put 2 scoops of guacamole on it, but one fell off. She wiped up the counter but didn’t bother giving me a new second scoop. Kind of off-putting when guacamole is an up-charge and the scoops are small. I didn’t want to be that person, so I let it slide.
The other bowl was for a spice sensitive person, so just rice, barbacoa, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream, and that one had no issues.
My bowl tasted ok until I was almost halfway through and found a paper label in it. Employees apologized as expected and did remake my bowl. I skipped the pico since it was obviously contaminated, and I wasn’t offered any fresh pico either. This time I again only got a single scoop of guacamole. I didn’t want to be that person, and it was a replacement anyway, so I didn’t comment.
Next time I will think twice before coming here, and if I do, I won’t bother with guacamole.

IF 0 STARS WERE ALLOWED ID GIVE JUST THAT! VERY RACIST... I GET HIRED EVERYWHERE, THATS PART OF MY COMMUNICATIONS ETHIC, I DO THIS FOR A LIVING.... ANYWAY, A FRIEND OF MINE (IM ACTUALLY HER MANAGER) GOES IN AFTER ME, SAME INTERVIEWER(BRITTANY, WHO ACTED LIKE MY CLEAN HANDS WERE DIRTY) OFFERED HER NOT ONLY THE EXACT PAY THAT WAS ON THE INTERNET, BUT THE ACTUAL SHIFT LEAD POSITION I APPLIED FOR WHICH CLEARLY SHE HAS NO EXPERIENCE, HOWEVER, OF COURSE SHE DIDN'T ACCEPT THE JOB, SHE JUST WITHDREW THE HIRING PROCESS, WE WERE JUST PROVING WORKING IN CANFIELD AND BEING BLACK IS NOT AN OPTION.... MORAL IS BRITTANY OFFERED ME 10.75 AND A CREW POSITION I WILL BE CONTACTING BBB AND THE HEAD OF HOTHEADS ABOUT THIS MATTER

This place seems to be a local favorite. My husband loved his burrito and I had a vegan bowl which I was glad that they could accommodate.

Vegetarian options: I had the bowl without meat.

Got a Smothered Burrito but all the cold toppings were in the Burrito instead of on top. Every other location puts it on top. Just a Burrito with queso on top overpowering the taste of everything else.

Teresa and her team really define what guest service really should be! She's always very friendly very outgoing, and it's really prideful about customer service, it's people like this that you should feel very lucky to have working for you, good people are impossible to find let alone people on her level she's simply amazing. The whole staff there is wonderful, I always enjoy going here ?

As the title says, this can be a great alternative to Chipotle. I didn’t like the taste at first, but now I think it’s the better of the 2 (Hence why I added it to this site).
