Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary, so we thought it would be fun to eat at Olive Garden. We usually don't have the money to eat there, so this was really special. I ordered the 5 cheese baked ziti and my hubby ordered the alfredo with shrimp and scallops. The food was sub-par, the waitress checked on us once and the second time we needed her we had to stop her to ask her for more water. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed. But it gets even worse. 24 hours after being there, my hubby got severe food poisoning. Today has been day 3 and he is SLOWLY on the upswing but severely dehydrated. Maybe even to the point that if he is unable to keep the liquid IV drink down I will be taking him to the er. Never expected to have a special celebration turn out the way it did. I suggest, if you plan on eating here, make sure ALL your food is throughly cooked. I know that we will NEVER be going back, that's for sure.

Given dirty silverware. Talked to waitress and manager apologize d but did not offer any discount or anything for the dirty silverware. It ruined my dining experience. I feel they could have compensated me some how. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Absolutely AWEFUL service! 2 adults 1 child. They pretended my child didn't exist. Didn't offer refills on bread or salad, didn't check on why I didn't touch my food, didn't offer refills on drinks and didn't even bring everyone at the table a chocolate.

Hostess was beyond kind and serviceable, walked us me with an umbrella in the rain because of my crutches, the service is incredibly kind, the world deserves more people like her ❤️

Im telling everyone out there, this is the best place for Italian food in the Boardman area, if anyone stops by for any occasion! Great staff, & of course great food all across the menu!

I ordered calamari as my meal, and it was so over cooked and dried up not tasted i could barely eat it. My father had to wait over 10 mins after we got our food for his soup to finally come. This place has gone down in the years, I dont normally come here but did for my father but probably won't anymore.

Pretty sure my waiter was high. Waited over an hour for the food to arrive and even then had to send stuff back, like the steak because they cooked it wrong. $30 for a sirloin the size of your palm.. even the tour of Italy feels smaller than I remember.

Went to the one in Boardman OH. The carpet smelled terrible. I was disappointed that they dont allow you to take home a soup. I dont go as often as I used to. The waitress was nice but never brought me my second bowl of soup or salad, then made a fuss when she allowed me to have one to take home. I added the all-you-can-eat can eat salad to my meal and took the lasagne home for my husband.

our server alison did a wonderful job! she is was very polite and helpful. we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for our refills whether it was bread soup or the alfredo. the manager came around aswell to assure our service was good. overall i would recommend coming to this location.
