Quaker Steak & Lube

I ate at the Boardman Quaker Steak & lube and I don't know if anybody else likes fruit flies and flies on their food but I really didn't like it so that's my review they have fruit flies in their kitchen flies from the back door being open and it's very filthy dirty

I'm only in town for a few days but grew up going to the Old Boardman location across Market from the mall, and then moved to Hermitage, so went to the original Sharon location for most of my 20s.

I'm SO glad we stopped! Bartender KATE is GREAT! Food was amazing. 3 people, waited no time at all to be seated.

Apps: Mozz. Sticks w/ red sauce and loaded magna fries no shallots. Fries were so good, 2 of us were eating the last of them as we left for the night.

Mains: Garlic Curd burger, well done with fries; Pick Your Cheese Burger, medium with fries; Top Gear tenders & Pick Up Pickles build your own Combo.

Drinks: Root beer and chocolate milkshake.

Worst item: the milkshake, and it was still pretty darn good. The root beer is bottled, creamy and smooth. The sweet BBQ sauce is STILL award winning as far as we're concerned. I miss the days of the $.05/wing bar, but at least at this location, Kate made sure we were well looked after.

The food was okay for the price point, which is relatively cheap, however our server was either new or just not very good at his job and required several trips for a single task. The bar was serving people who were clearly overly drunk for a venue of that type which disrupted our meal with their rowdiness.

Took my family out to dinner and saw there was barely anyone at Quaker so we decided to go there to avoid a long wait. The bartender had to come up to seat us and told us there were only two servers so they were trying to seat people close together. We were one of three tables in the entire restaurant. There were two of us plus a baby, another couple next to us, and then a woman sitting alone. Our waitress took a while to greet us and took 20 minutes to get our drinks and about an hour to get our food. We had waited so long our baby got fussy and we didn’t get to eat we had to leave which was disappointing because the food was actually pretty good they just took forever to get it to us. The bartender sat with customers at the bar talking not helping, there were people that looked like they worked in the kitchen sitting on their phones outside of it, and another man (possibly the manager not really sure) just walking around and talking to the bartender or disappearing. Our waitress spoke to us more in the 30 seconds it took her to get us our check then the hour we sat waiting for food to arrive. Really upsetting service.

This place it super cool to eat at. It has a really nice atmosphere that just feels different from anywhere else. The only reason the food got 4 stars is bc my mac n cheese wasn't the best, but everything else was a 5!

I've grown up going to the Quaker Steak in Sharon. My daughter and I were out for a shopping date and decided to treat ourselves to dinner in November.

I'd say we arrived a little after 6pm, maybe 6:15pm. We waited longer than we should have to even get acknowledged & have our beverage order taken.

We ordered our food at 6:24pm, and at 7:05pm were still waiting for our food to arrive at our table.

7:10pm our food finally arrives at our table. My daughters steak dinner was okay. I got the boneless chicken tenders that I've always loved and are my go to. Sadly, they were disgusting and rubbery. I attempted to eat one of the tenders, and the rest were still sitting on my plate when the waitress took our dirty dishes and didn't even ask why the main course of the meal was barely touched.

And just to say: they were NOT BUSY! In fact, there were maybe 15 people at tables. I took photos of all the empty tables because it was mind blowing to me how slow/lack luster the service was for the amount of paying customers that were actually there at this time.

Our bill was probably $50.00 once you added beverages & tax.

I don't think we will be returning to this one.

Me and my husband had an appetizer 2 beers 20 wings and desert for $75 bucks kinda expensive but our waitress was awesome

We went on a Friday night and were seated immediately by our friendly, attentive waiter Tristan. He continually checked in on us even though they were very busy. Highly recommend the classic boneless wings in BBQ sauce and the delicious loaded baked potatoes. We really enjoyed the unique orange cream sodas! Great family friendly atmosphere, sweet music and ambience, delicious food. We will be back!

1st time going there food was ok I got fries and a burger and the fries was a little cold . My husband got loaded fries and he didn’t like it and Mac n cheese very horrible only thing was good and decent was the mozzarella sticks. 1st time going and my last time going there . Also our silverware was dirty.

Sunday night is apparently not it. We were among like 4 other families there. Service was so slow. We waited for 45min for food to come out. All of it was underwhelming and was very cold. Waitress was sweet but not very attentive. A slow night shouldn’t equate to laziness. I like this place as an idea but man food and service was a huge miss.

Server brought me rice instead of fries. My son ordered cheese and bacon for his fries, she put it in for the burger instead. She didn't check back on us. Didn't refill or drinks. We usually have a great experience here but not in this day.

Food was cold. Baked potato was hard. I didn't eat the ribs. The potato soup was really good.

Great food great service

Boneless wings were pretty good. Our waitress was awesome, I wish I could remember her name so I could mention it.
