Food was cold and waitress at end watches that you put tip on bill...and if not says no tip? Uhmm..I leave tips in cash when I can!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Long story short, if you want good service, don't come here, the only good thing here is the food. From the beginning, this lady didn't want us there. We got our drink order taken by the host and the lady server got the sodas no problem, the hot tea she threw on the table and it had the tags in the water and the bags hanging out! She would try and rush us out by giving us the check, because we were chatting instead of instantly grabbing food after finishing a plate. And when we got back after getting more food, she forces us to pay the check and hovers as I'm writing the amount down. Because of this I didn't give a card tip but was going to give cash, she looked at the check and rolled her eyes. We continued to sit and talk with our food after paying and she yanks my dessert plate from out in front of me and I was still eating from it. I will NOT be back.

Disgusting way to treat people , I’d like to add the were whipping down tables with a bucket from the fish store ??? Not food grade safe . But you know , I wouldn’t know anything about food service. 😂 save your $40+ and take yourself / your family out for a good meal . So you’re not disappointed and disgusted the same way my family and I was.

We had a stopover from our travel from Mayland to Illinois, and we were not expecting the food and service to be that awesome. Thanks for the food and the service.

Begging for tips when they just brought u water, some of the food tastes like dish water, not to mention the place smelled like piss. They hover over you while you eat and watch you the whole time. WHY WOULD I TIP AND I GOT THE FOOD MYSELF
The last several visits have been wonderful. Staff was polite in their interactions, but they left me in peace for my visit. Food was of good quality, as it was fairly busy and there was a good rotation. It will continue to be a routine visit while in the area

Ok. Here goes.. This is My unbiased, objective review. I and the Wife are Seniors, and we like to eat out and try new restaurants. Mother's Day I and the wife went here to the royal buffet. And I must agree with other reviews of this place.
The place was packed for Mother's Day, and it was Uncomfortably Warm, I was sweating. The wait staff will stand at certain areas, and stare at you while you're trying to eat. The wait staff did very little, aside from taking away dishes and refills. And the bill was on the table before we returned from our second trip to the food bar.
As Others have said, the Exotic seafood was Off-putting. And we overheard the way the wait staff was speaking to People, and about People. It's Mother's Day, the Restaurant IS going to be hectic. The waitress was very aggressive about the tip, tapping the check. After spending $45.00 and hearing how they speak to people and about people. I'm sorry, No Tip for You. This is HOW we send a message to businesses which are Pushy, Rude, and Price Gouging. And trying to Hustle you through your meal so they can get another set of people in there and get that money. When you spend that kind of money, your going to want to Enjoy yourself.
Unfortunately, We did not. The food prep was hurried due to the Volume of Patrons and some of it seemed undercooked. After this experience, WE will NOT be returning. Such a Shame.
Maybe New Wait staff would improve Customer Relations.

Very very busy of course it was mother's Day but the food is excellent there's a wide variety of it seating is great service is excellent The one girl is a perfect gem I would highly recommend it prices are good too

Royal buffet 267 Boardman-Canfield Rd, Boardman, OH 44512 Boardman Plaza Very clean! Especially the dining room and restroom! food is astronomically exquisite! food stations were clean and fresh hot food & up to proper temperatures. Dinning room is very spacious to accommodate large parties & family diners. The variety of food, choices to select from are incredibly excellent! So much to choose from! The staff is very nice, respectful and demonstrated great hospitality! The decor is warm hardwood cushion benches with red mahogany, colored wood tables and chairs as well as booths! The ambience is very thrilling and it's to die for I highly recommend you come and enjoy the atmosphere as well as the authentic cuisine here at the Royal buffet in Boardman, Ohio
