It's conveniently located to the vacation home we were staying on by the lake. It's easy to find in town. It also crosses the major bike path. ( Cotton Creek trail?) It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. It's a small town restaurant and I've been there for lunch and breakfast. Everything's homemade We went one day and it was late but there were some large Church groups that were leaving and I could tell that it would fill up fast as it seemed to be one busy place. This restaurant still has that old time mom and pop family feel it's a definite classic type vibe with experienceed wait staff taking orders It's about being realistic this is not a mall based restaurant or a high end bistro somewhere. The food was well prepared hot and delicious. I always like to support a local venue. I have been twice, the service was fast and efficient and the food came along quickly. Staff really cared and wanted you to be happy. We had a very good breakfast one day and a very good lunch another. Everything was cooked Gray the roast beef tastes like roast beef and the turkey taste like turkey not some kind of package crap. Of course like most small town restaurants there's daily specials on the board.

A great home cooked Restaurant. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would give it a 10. Awesome and excellent food, the staff is very nice and friendly. They give you a large portion for your money, you will be full.Other places give you a small portion and charge too much money.They also take checks and credit cards, other places won't take checks, we are glad they take checks. We live in the area and we try to come a few times a month, especially on Sundays. We wish they were open longer on Sun. because we have Church. They are closed on Mon.and Tues. The food is always so good and delicious. The cornbread is excellent, made different. The atmosphere is so nice. If you are in the area you need to try WG.Thanks WG, we really enjoy eating at your family Restaurant. You have some great cooks.Keep up the great work. Blessings! We stopped in and had dinner while visiting Deersville and Tappan Lake. Beautiful area with small towns and lakes.Hubby said it was the best country fried steak he's had in a long time.
Had lunch here yesterday. Had to come back for breakfast today. I'm from AZ....if I lived here, I would be a regular !! Food and service is A+

For a small town locally owned restaurant, this is a find. The food is good, made from fresh ingredients. I had a super piece of Boston Cream Pie but by the time I remembered to get a picture, it was gone!
