If I could give it quarter stars, it'd be a 4.75/5 just because it is pretty pricey, but that's understandable with the location. the staff is extremely friendly and lots of samples are offered for the various delicious pastries. Overall great coffee shop, and I highly recommend.

An absolute gem. BG is lucky to have a spot like this. Even after I moved away, I still drive there to pick up beans from Ben. His beans are the best (in Ohio, according to Food & Wine), no exaggeration. If you drink coffee and you're within 20 miles of this place, make the trip. Get a scone.

Visited Flatlands Coffee and had such a great experience. The space is bright, modern, and cozy, with warm wood textures, minimalist decor, and creative lighting that gives it a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place you want to hang out in for a while.
I ordered a lavender latte and a dulce latte—both were fantastic. The lavender was smooth and gently floral, and the dulce hit the perfect balance of sweetness and bold espresso. Easily some of the best lattes I’ve had.
I also tried their new banana bread with marshmallow, and wow—such a creative and tasty twist. Moist, flavorful, and just the right touch of sweetness.
The barista was super welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. You can tell there’s genuine care behind everything they do here.
Highly recommend stopping by. Flatlands Coffee is a gem.

This is a great spot. They have very friendly people that work there. They go above and beyond in terms of service. I was visiting there from out of state and accidentally left headphones there. They found them and after some correspondence, they actually shipped them back, without charging me and actually added in a small bag of coffee beans for free. Remarkable experience with them. I will always go back when I’m in town. Thank you Flatlands!

I came across Flatlands at a local farmers market. The owner is such a great guy and genuinely cares about delivering a great customer experience and quality goods. The baked goods (especially the scones) as well as the coffee are fantastic. Coffee is smooth and with just enough flavor (not overbearing). I'd easily put them up there with other local competitors, maybe better. The scones are soft and far from dry, making for a really good treat. Get a few, you'll only regret not getting them.
