It's always a great experience and I greatly appreciate the healthy, fresh food. As a long time vegetarian, I always appreciate that gives vegetarians multiple options, and not as a second thought.
Great vegetarian choices!
I stopped on my way to the airport with my mom and we loved the atmosphere and everyone was super friendly. The Matcha Latte was super delicious and I can’t wait to go back when I am back in the area! Thank you for the amazing experience, the delicious and beautiful Lattes and the friendly smiles!!!
The atmosphere is friendly and laid back, and the coffee is awesome
Ben and his team have created a great atmosphere for working, meeting with friends or just relaxing with a great cup of coffee. Always friendly and welcoming, Flatlands is a gem in the heart of BG.
Food wasn’t bad & the service was good. Really not a bad place to eat & relatively cheap as well.
Great food. One of a kind menu selection. New owner is absolute amazing, funny, and creative!
Good food and good service.
While there is nothing fancy about the food I strongly support local eateries. A M Diner is owned by a young couple with small children and I want them to succeed.
Great food and great conversation! Will definitely be back! Quick service and so friendly!

Very good burgers! Great, friendly service. They had had a very busy day, and were out of a few menu items, but the burger and fries were great! When I go back I'll probably just get that again. But the chicken bacon club DOES look tasty. Gonna be a tough call. Lol
Only giving it a 3 because the food is soooo good. I’ve never had one bad meal here but the service we had today was awful. Two young girls working who couldn’t have cared any less about us or our meal. I am a server/bartender and wouldn’t have a job if I worked like these girls. They had no clue if they had a kids menu and then never greeted our table. To top it off our drinks never once got refilled or asked how our meal once. Once she dropped the food off, that was the end of her service. We came in at 3:30, not knowing they closed at 4 which probably annoyed them but we would’ve known had we been told. I hope these girls develop some work ethic and customer service skills before they drive people away. We still left a tip because as a server I could not leave just nothing but it was nothing compared to what I usually leave.
So, last night we ordered Cornville Corned Beef for my husband and I ordered the New Sherrif in Town and an order of Macaroni and Cheese to split. Well before I could try my husband's sandwich, it was gone!! Mine was like a philly cheese, Fantastic! !! Needless to say I have no idea how I expected to split anything! Our sandwiches were too big for room for anything else! ! Best Fresh food and Huge Portions!!☆☆☆☆☆
Well I hate to disagree with all of you. I'm love to see new places open up but expected way more. We just got our order delivered. We are 2 minutes from the mall. Texas omelette and chicken strip meal went right in the trash. Chicken was soggy and tasteless. Onion rings completely undercooked along with the 4 little mushrooms. Eggs were strange and hard describe. The biscuits and gravy were decent.
My fiance and I are from Toledo and enjoy going to local coffee shops. We heard great things about Flatlands and are so glad we made the drive to come here. We ordered the cafe dulce, an espresso, and a pour over. Max, our barista, was so welcoming and made some of the best tasting coffee we have ever had. As an added bonus, his latte art looked great! We will definitely come again. We also thought they had a nice, clean, and comfortable looking diaper changing station in the bathroom for those who may stop in with babies to enjoy some coffee (not like what you typically find in public restrooms).
