This place has the best staff! Very friendly and knowledgeable, always helpful. They have a selection of meads and non alcohol options. Plenty of space to socialize and play board games, with board games in house that have been donated. People are friendly and always open to others joining in a game. A fine successor to the previous Aistear.

I really wanted to like this place because one of my friends recommended it to me since their family is one of the owners. Unfortunately, my experience with my friends was far from what I was expecting. No one acknowledged us, I waited about 10 minutes before I went and asked what was available. Personally, it was not my favorite, lacked some flavor, and it felt a bit overpriced for the bottle. There was no music and an awkward atmosphere. Staff was friendly, but some were not very knowledgeable when my friends asked some questions. Definitely has potential but, unfortunately, will not be returning.

We walked in, awkwardly waited at the counter while they had 4-5 staff talk amongst themselves and no one greeting us. Drinks were decent but a bottle I ended up picking up was definitely way overpriced for the other options out there with way more variety (Dansk Mjod), but I wanted to show some support. I would suggest playing literally any form of music even quietly in the background and to have all the staff educated on the basics. I was poured a drink and then asked for the money immediately..I think? Anyway, they ended up forgetting to charge me for half my items so I left a tip to make up for it. Hopefully gets better!

Really friendly and kind bartender. We had a great time trying all the meads and getting to play a game of Catan while we were there! Very relaxed atmosphere and highly recommend it for a game night with friends!

We really enjoyed this bar. It was a very chill atmosphere for playing games or hanging out. A nice change from the loud crowded bars and clubs in the city. The drinks were good and they are working to increase the variety of drinks and also the games available to play while you hang out. Prices were reasonable as well.

Fantastic drinks and people! Owner's backgrounds are not in bartending, but each time I've come here (three times now) I can tell they've been working at it, have added new things, and are open to talking about things they still hope to do. Looking forward to coming back!
