Was in town with my family of 5, wanted to eat somewhere with fresh and inspired food. Probably the worst $34 steak I've ever had. It was cooked right, mid rare, but there was very little juice when cutting into the steak, nearly dry. I didnt finish it because something felt off. The mashed potatoes and green beans were about the same quailty of a school lunch, no flavor, very little seasoning across the board. My two sons both had the Fried chicken sandwich, which they finished. Later that night everyone, except my wife who ordered the crab cakes, had severe stomach issues. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Very lazy, low standards in the kitchen, which was surprising based on the prices we paid. Our server was great.

This was our first time at SamB's, and we have two young girls (3 and 6). The atmosphere is perfect - it is extremely nice, you can hear the music but it isn't too loud that you can't talk. And it wasn't so quiet we felt our girls had to be too quiet. Our server (Grace) was phenomenal!! She recommended the Chicken Marsala for me, and it was the best Marsala I've had. My husband got Alfredo (-spinach) and he absolutely loved it! Our girls enjoyed the kids meals, and for the price it honestly was a great value. We were all satisfied when we left! You have to try the Peanut Butter Mousse Cake!

My Cobb Salad was fresh and tasty, but my friend's Cesar salad missed the bacon it claimed to have. The restaurant didn't have any specific gluten-free option, which nowadays is a must-have.

Upscale dining in BG. It is very expensive and portions are somewhat small depending on what you order.

It pains me to write this. The bartender was awesome. The vibe was excellent. Unfortunately, one of the meals was delivered extremely undercooked. And later that night I became quite ill. I had a different dish, but it was the same meat, so I suspect it may have been spoiled.Truly, it was a bummer because the staff we interacted with were superb.

Servers are always friendly, good is good, and prices are reasonable. The tiramisu is really good (though it might be even better with coffee liqueur).

After driving around NW Ohio and two attempts to redeem a gift card for a popular steakhouse, we decided to return to our home town in an attempt to celebrate our anniversary at a nice local restaurant. Still craving steak we called in and they happily put us on the list for the next available table. It was ready when we got there and the food was beyond fantastic. We couldn’t happen but to laugh at ourselves and our crazy adventure. 2 hours of driving to find ourselves the best food a few blocks from home.

It's ok but not as good as it wants to be. It wants to be fine dining but it operates at the talent level of casual dining. Service is mostly trash.

I really like the new location and as always the food is very good. SamB's is one of my wife, eyes, favorite date locations here in BG!
