VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Unfortunately we have to say we had the worst experience EVER with South Side Six in BG tonight!!
I’ve been to south side six a few times with my husband & had nothing but good service & fantastic food. Until tonight, I called my order in & ordered 2 gyros - 1 with no lettuce & 1 regular with sauce on the side & a cheeseburger no mayo & no lettuce & a basket of fries.
Instead when I got home 45 min away I opened the bag & received a chicken gyro & burger with only ketchup. I called the restaurant & was hung up on then called back. Mind you I’ve never ever complained to this restaurant & I’ve gotten to know the owners. But tonight Mr came to the phone & told me that they make several orders a night & do make mistakes & since they can’t make me happy I’m to go across the street to Wendy’s McDonald or Burger King. Really I feel I must of gotten the wrong order, I feel that I was disrespected & talked to as a child instead of an adult. I never yelled, screamed or even complained before, in fact the last time I was there was early Oct.
yes people make mistakes, but you are a restaurant & mistakes should not happen no matter how many orders you make. I paid $50 dollars for an order that was completely wrong & threw it away. You’re supposed to be a professional business & take care of your customers. You don’t have to worry about me ever complaining for I won’t EVER be back!
I hope you’re proud of yourself, I did nothing wrong & I’ve never complained before but now I’m making my voice heard.

South side Six has the best gyros anywhere, ever! We drive out of our way to pick them up. Seasoning in meat and the sauce is amazing. This isn't a restaurant, so there is no atmosphere score. Pro tip....buy a pack of pita, there is so much food packed into gyro you can make an extra 1 or 2!

Amazing food. We had the burger, wings and gyros . Only thing that didn’t have left overs was the wings we got 20.. I couldn’t even finish half of my gyro good thing they taste good the next day lol. Highly recommend!!!! The staff are also so kind, friendly and nice. Makes you feel welcome and appreciated

There aren’t enough stars. Our Son -in-law introduced us to Southside when he was at school at Bowling Green University. Once you go here, if you are anywhere close, you will make a point to stop by. For us, the hummus is the garlicky main event. We always get some to travel home with us. The pita chips are the best I’ve ever had. Today, we got a chicken swarma. The pickles made it so good. Servings are big. We usually share an entree. It’s the standard by which all other Mediterranean places are measured. There are two picnic tables out front. They have beer and wine. It’s more of a carry out kind of place.

This is the first ever time I have been disappointed in Southside six Not with the quality of food or the service, but I can’t seem to remember ever paying 279 for a side of garlic sauce or a side of tzatziki sauce a great place to eat, but if you’re a sauce person and you like dipping fries and have an extra sauce for your food only go there to eat on Thursday when they have their gyro deal
