Visited from Lancaster today for the first time. Beautifully restored historic place, with a lot of effort. Calm, pleasant ambiance and very good pastries. They also have lunch with a weekly-changing menu (but we had just had lunch) so we are planning to return for that. The owner, chef is a most pleasant and friendly lady . This place deserves to be patronized...we will!

We had a cookie bar for our wedding instead of the traditional cake. The cookies were phenomenal both my husband and I had several of our favorites. The macaroons were a crowd favorite along with the pie cookies. We were completely impressed with the quality and variety. We even had a dietary restriction that was accommodated with several types of cookies for our special request. Highly recommend.

My sister and I got the apple fritter and a cream filled donut, and they were incredible. Very fresh !. Even a bite without any apple slices still had so much apple flavor. The filling for the puff donut was so light and perfect and not overwhelmingly sugary.they even gave us a sample of a pie they were trying. Gonna go back soon and try some of the breakfast food!

My daughters and I visited this quaint bakery a couple times recently while in town visiting family. First, the interior of the building was beautiful -- cute and comfortable while maintaining the old-timey feel and some of the elements (such as the mosaic floor) of the old bank building. Then the baked goods were amazing! We tried 8 or 9 different items in total and loved them all. We'll be back every time we're in town!

I may be biased as the owners are family friends, but the sausage and gravy biscuits, to die for. I haven't had them that good since my great-grandmother made them for me as a child. The setting is both nostalgically-quaint and yet very cool at the same time. The owners did a fab job on the renovation. I suggest getting their early as most of the baked goods were sold out towards the afternoon, they're that good!

The goods from this shop are from another planet, the flavors, textures, and it's in baked goods form I can't even tell you how great it is in words get into this place and try something new bust your bubble and live!
