our first time visiting and apparently first weekend with new ownership. we were a little disappointed they didn't have their famous cinnamon rolls. our breakfast. we're both very good and portions were generous for the cost. not sure how relevant the old reviews will be now, but it looked like they kept many of the menu items from previous owner.

really neat. local history museum and the same building included some interesting stories from local veterans.

We ordered breakfast to go.
They didnt include our bacon only the bacon for one order. Thats fine.
I ordered my eggs over-hard. Soon as I cut into it the yolk was so runny I lost my appetite and had to essentially throw my food away.
About the service, when my boyfriend tried calling to place our order they were rude in trying to tell us they didnt know what we were talking about when trying to order hashbrowns or home fries or whatever they want to call it. Said they didnt know what we were talking about. I call bull every restaurant that serves breakfast serves those things. Extremely lazy and unprofessional and if I could I would give no stars. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again until they get their act and the food right.

I am having a hard time giving one star for food. We ordered a salad and the lettuce was noticeably brown all over. We also had a turkey Reuben when we opened the sandwich had not even a layer of sauerkraut. If your out of something don’t try to pass it one to your customer. We would understand and order something different.

The food is pretty good. I love that we have a quick spot for food in Brewster. Food doesn’t usually take too long to come out and is good. Parking is easy to access.

Parking is off the side of the building, and there was enough for all patrons. Decided to take a stroller, vs car seat, and almost instantly regretted it, as I had to carry it up the stairs... thankfully there were enough hands around to manage a baby and a stroller. Walked into the building, and almost thought I was in the wrong spot, as i walked into a museum! But the restaurant was to the left of the entrance. We were welcomed by such a warm staff that the inconveniences seemed a distant memory. Their cinnamon rolls got me dancing!!! We had the western omelette, fish sandwich, and dollar pancakes. The pancakes tasted like they were homemade, and everything else was delicious. The prices were honestly fair, especially in these times. It's definitely a spot I'd frequent again.
