Ordered a cassata cake. They could not find the order. After waiting about 15 minutes, they came out with a chocolate cake Happy Birthday Rick. This was an order a year ago and Rick is deceased. The Happy Birthday was those already plastic cake put on. It was a good thing my sister (her Deceased husband) did not come to pick up this order.
After another 20 minutes or so, they finally found the cake. They did give me a discount for the inconvenience. But an order pulled a year ago? Strangest experience with the bakery

I have been shopping here for a decade. I Used to order pies and cakes for business events annually and also used it in my personal life for my wedding, my kids baptisms, birthdays, endless events. These days you can’t get anyone to pick up the phone. The prices are up but the quality is down. The cassata cake no longer has strawberries and the jam like filling is strangely gelatinous. No one informed us of the change before we spent 100+$ on a cassata cake for our last event. It’s not this warm family friendly place anymore. So sad.

I was looking to place custom cake order for my kid's birthday. I had absolute terrible customer service experience at this bakery. First of all several of my calls and email where not answered. I visited in person twice for custom cake design discussion. I was given significantly different estimates for same custom cake design. I have decided to work with other bakery because of really bad customer service experience here.

I strongly recommend that the management of this establishment provide supplementary training to employees on customer service, accurate order fulfillment, and proper packaging of baked goods. Having visited this establishment for years, my most recent experience did not meet expectations. Upon purchasing puffs, the employee deviated from standard protocol by placing them in a plastic bag instead of a box, displaying a lack of professionalism. The reaction of other employees, who witnessed the exchange and laughed, caused discomfort. I refrained from commenting, as I did not find the situation amusing, but inquired about the proper packaging. The puffs were intended as a gift, and the subpar customer service and attitude may deter future business. It appears that management may have become complacent due to high customer volume, resulting in a lack of professionalism in customer treatment. As paying customers, we expect to be treated with respect and dignity, and it is unacceptable to be made to feel humiliated in the process.

My family and I have been loyal customers for over 15 years, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. The cakes are visually beautiful, but the quality, customer service, and responsiveness have all gone downhill significantly. They can barely answer a phone. The most recent cake I ordered was awful, so much so that several guests commented on it. The filling has clearly changed, and there was no communication about this change. A little heads up would have been nice especially for those that have been long term customers. I ended up throwing away more than half of the cake that’s how terrible it was. I was embarrassed! Given the recent surge of negative reviews, it’s clear this place isn’t somewhere you should do business at. Sadly, I can no longer recommend this bakery. Go Elsewhere!

My first time going to Micheal Angelos for my birthday cake it was so soft and moist and the icing melted in my mouth thank you and you will be seeing me soon

i was in there thursday morning and had the BEST help from someone wearing a halloween sweater. i think she said she was going to be a peacock for halloween? really fun convo - usually when i’m in there the people hardly speak so this was a great change of pace. i actually stayed longer and bought more lol the cupcakes and iced cookies are always great. highly recommend!

Saw an employee drop a loaf of bread on the floor, picked it up and put it back in the bin! I did mention something but it got ignored. Iv been a customer for a while, I come frequently for sava bread! I do feel uncomfortable buying bread now because not sure how often this happens, which makes me sad because this is my daughter’s favorite bread! But there are other bakeries that I guess we’ll be trying!

We have been a long time customer for Michael Angelo’s. My wedding cake has been here and every single birthday for each family member has been here every year for the last 15 years. I purchased a cake today walk in. What I thought was a cassata cake turned out to be a jelly like filling that was horrible. There was no communication that this has changed. No signs up staff did not coordinate this with me or anything. My son was so upset and didn’t even want to eat it. I thought it was the fresh strawberries with the filling. So upsetting. Not to mention the strawberries on top were spoiled and black. We took them off and no one even asked if I wanted something on the cake.

Ordered all the bakery, cakes and cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. Everything was phenomenal except for the color of the frosting on the cake and vanilla cupcakes. It was not a match to what I sent. However at the end of the day it surely didn't impact her day. Everyone loved all the treats!

To be clear considering Google's questions, this is not a restaurant - but a take away bakery! All sorts of delicious treats that it's always incredibly tempting to take away.

I've never disliked anything I've eaten from this store, and highly recommend it.

I use to love this company. I've supported their family business for years. I've used them for every celebration whether it was a baby shower, cakes for my kids whatever I needed for bakery Michael Angelo's the place to go too. Recently I went to the bakery to place an order for my son birthday and the manager was very rude and disrespectful from the moment she approached me. I explained to the manager I wanted to create a cake for my son and because I didn't have an inspiration picture she refused to service me. She walked away in the middle of a conversation. Even if I didn't have an inspiration picture the manager could have still discussed my ideas with me. We could have discussed the flavor, the tier of the cake, what I wanted on the cake and I could have came back with an inspired picture but to completely walk away and disregard me was wrong.

We ordered a customised berry theme cake for our daughter’s 1st birthday. The flavour we selected was Tiramisu. The cake taste delicious and the design was perfect just like I wanted. Our guests really enjoyed the cake.
We only provided the bows and the cake topper which we later added . Everything was great except the price . The price for 10’inch cake was for 150 dollars . I mean the cake didn’t have any character designs or 2 tier cake plus over email I was told that it will cost me 110 .4 star is for that price.
