For 3 years I’ve been trying to have cakes made by these people it’s always some big excuse as to why they can’t I call 3-4 months in advance they say they can then they change there mind… it’s horrible service I really don’t know how they run a business an make money if they aren’t up to do the job

We placed a custom order for a birthday cake (German Chocolate Torte) and received a confirmation email with an order number. When arriving to pick up the order at the designated time we were told "the order was never processed" despite us having received a confirmation regarding the order. This was after we had waited for 20 minutes while the cashier was conferring with other staff in the kitchen regarding this mix up. We were then told we would have to wait another 60 minutes for our order to be completed. This was after having driven for 45 minutes to pick up our cake.
This was our first experience with Michael Angelo's Bakery and needless to say we were very disappointed as we left without a cake for a special occasion. Our experience seems to be one that has been shared by many as of late.

I was in today purchased $30 worth of pastries to send out of state asked for a clamshell to put some of the bakery in. The girl told me no and put them it in a box. The contents in the box needed to be in the freezer and if they touch they would be frozen together so I was a little irritated. I went back up there. I told them that I needed the clamshell I was charged $.50.
When I told her I was shipping them out of state, you would think that she would’ve put them in the clamshell since we were having the conversation so I can safely freeze them and safely ship them but that didn’t happen. Needless to say I don’t think I’m going to be coming up there anymore for anything I will go elsewhere

This bakery is phenomenal. Everything I have ever had has been absolutely scrumptious. The croissants are just so good, they are my favorite. Even the flavored coffee is great. The prices are reasonable and will keep me coming back. This is the perfect neighborhood bakery.

I was (once again) blown away by the talent of the cake decorating artists! I came in to order an “under the sea” themed shower cake with just a lame picture, the color scheme and the shower invitation! The customer service girl spoke with the decorator and and told me what they could do and I said - sounds great! When I picked up the cake I almost sobbed right there - it was beyond anything I could have ever imagined! I have used only michaelangelos for the last 21 years - 4 kids: communions, birthdays, graduations, showers, engagements, and weddings! Plus the countless times I need some bakery! Thank you for this most beautiful cake that I almost cried cutting because it was a work of art!

Macs were not fresh, they cracked when you touched them, raspberry was to powerful. Cupcakes were ok. Lemon was our favorite but you can tell they freeze them because the center was still frozen. Snoogle was good but I believe they are bought whole sale and resold. Not understanding the hype here. Cookies were to be expected.

I drove 45 minutes to go here for the macarons. I unfortunately bought a dozen. They were hard, and all 12 crumbled. They were not good. We also wanted tea. They have 2 large menus on their wall with a big list of drinks only to be told they don't have anything other than coffee. Take the menus down if you don't have anything available. I won't be back. Horrible experience!

Could not be more disappointed. We have been using this Bakery for about 5 years. My son Lucas 3rd birthday was yesterday. The cake quality has went down SO much from even 5 months ago!! I was embarrassed to put it out. Not even the right color palette.
WE added the characters on top…..imagine what it would look like without them.
Absolutely terrible quality. I wish we would have went to Giant Eagle instead.
My husband asked for checker board, told “They don’t do that anymore.” Asked for fondant. “We don’t do that” Well we know you do so……why the lies?
The words are illegible. NOT worth the $100 price tag.
Everyone at the party was asking where we got it (not in a good way. they were as confused as I was) They were shocked when we told them from our usual place.
WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.
I’m just so disappointed…….inside plain chocolate cake that was over baked.
Please do not waste your money here.
Attached is his cake from last year….so clearly they WERE capable of making awesome cakes in the past. Just know your awesome cake place is gone…done…they stopped caring. They stopped trying.
Please again don’t waste your money.

Once again, Michaelangelo’s Bakery has completely impressed with their birthday cake creation! We’ve used them for so many events and I cannot say enough about how gorgeous the cakes are - but (maybe) even more importantly, how DELICIOUS they are! A few of the cakes over the years are in the photos! Thank you for making us a beautiful and delicious cake again!!

So disappointed I've had previous cakes from Michael Angelo's and not had an issue until I ordered for my 30th birthday. I ordered online the heart shaped cake and it came to me as a round cake . It should have had the word thirty written instead of a T it's an a so the cake can't even be used.
I want to warn customers when order bakery make sure you do not get a misfit pecan cin pastry with little or nuts. I made the mistake of not watching what was put into my box. when I got home and look into the container, I was definitely dispointed with the pecan nut pastry. Had purchased two. One look like the pastry I saw in the display, other looked like it was dropped or old left over missing most of the toppings(pecan nuts).

Their sweets taste like the stuff you'd buy at the grocery store and make with your kids. I would love to be proved wrong...
I drove 45 min. to pick up some nutrolls for a party I was going to. The nutrolls were mushy and uncooked inside. Definitely not like my grandmother used to bake! Needless to say I will not purchase these again!
