Love this place, it's always clean and the beers are ice cold.

Food is pretty good but the service is horrible. You will waite forever to get drinks. It took almost 45 minutes to get wings and onion rings.
I think the owners are to cheep to hire staff and cover the bar and restaurant properly.

Pizza is a hit or miss. You never know what you’re going to get. I wasn’t sure if it was just me but a lady sitting at the bar confirmed it was not just me. She stated she doesn’t order their pizza anymore for that reason.
They need more staff on Sundays for the football games. Only one person is working and they’re expected to be a server on the floor, take orders all while being everyone’s bartender. It’s too much for one person, which then causes bad service.
I get it…. We have a lot of loyal Browns fans in the area. But there’s also a lot of people who are NOT Browns fans. Whenever you walk into Barley Jack’s when the Browns are playing, you will only see the Browns game on all of their multiple tv screens. I understand Barley Jacks wants to be loyal to the Browns, but as a business, you need to think about all of the customers,
Despite their cheaper drinks, they lost a customer.
I’ve never gone into a bar where there weren’t multiple football games playing on TV at the same time.

Good place to grab a beer and something to eat really quick especially on Thursday between 3 and 6 no one really there but it is slow takes awhile for your order to get to you but its worth it. Nice environment

Definitely not the place to get carry out food . Got a simple salad and questioned why it was so small and got directed down the street to another restaurant.... kinda rude if you ask me . Won't be returning sadly .

The food was very good. However, I ordered boneless wings to go for my daughter and a burger with the boneless on the side for my husband so the bun wouldn't get soggy. Unfortunately, the wings were bone in (she still ate them thank God) and the bun is soggy under the burger. We will try again another time. Drinks and the Italian wrap were top tier.

I did a carry out order. I got a calzone, it was horrible, side of sauce tasted burnt. Ordered wings which were hard, did not receive blue cheese which I ordered. No dip with chips.

Very friendly staff good atmosphere
My husband and I ate here around 7 pm on a Tuesday night. Not very crowded, which is how we like it. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff friendly. We enjoyed the nautical theme and decor, especially the mural on the exterior wall. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and my husband got the burger. We also got mozzarella sticks and cheesy bread as appetizers. Both appetizers were very good and my husband loved his burger. The pizza was pretty good. I especially liked the pepperonis, which there was a generous amount of. My only problem with it was that it was very greasy, both on top and on the bottom. Our waitress (I believe her name was Kaley) was attentive and made sure our cups were never empty. She even gave us extra napkins, which is always a plus. The food was hot and came out pretty fast. The price also wasn’t too offensive once we got the bill! Overall, a very good experience and a welcome addition to Brunswick. Will definitely be back!

Restaurantji Recommends
We stopped in for some lunch. Outside Patio was nice, inside the bar was interesting. I like the painted walls, pool table, pinball machine, some other bar games. Restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were in good shape.
We had pizza, wings and burgers. All of it was good. No complaints from anybody. Drinks were mixed great. Ice Cold beer. It's no wonder that this is a good hangout for a lot of people.

26 May 2025: This is a very laid back neighborhood pub. The locals are friendly and the bar boss for the night was Cody who is spot on taking care of his customers. Tip him well. I had the chicken club sandwich which gad all the fixing folded into a pizza like crust. It is filling and we'll worth the price. If my travels bring me forth to this joint, I'd order it again but if available, I'd ask for garlic mixed in. Mind you, it was good, but garlic makes everything better.......like butter!
The sandwich was served with hoyse made potato chips. Very tasty.
Eat here and be happy.

What a pizza, just had the hot honey pep and it was delicious. The dough was not heavy, light but deep. Just the right amount of honey and pep. Banging pizza!

We've enjoyed their food for several years & will continue to order from their menu. We've also spent time in the pub & enjoyed that as well. I advise giving it a try if you haven't yet.
