There were so many treats I wanted to adopt, but the second I saw the giant, chocolate-covered cream puff, it basically yelled, “Take me to your husband!” Mission accepted. I brought it home and casually told my husband, “Hey, I picked up a little pastry for you.” Hours later, he opened the bag and said—verbatim—“Holy #%?!”. This thing was an absolute unit. At least six inches tall, overflowing with fresh whipped cream like it was showing off. We both took a bite and just stared at each other like we’d seen pastry heaven. It was rich, cloud-like, and somehow not overly sweet. My husband, a self-proclaimed cream puff connoisseur, declared it the best he’s ever had. And trust me, the man has puff experience. Only one thought: throw in a middle pastry layer, Big Mac-style. Not because it needs it, but because my jaw would appreciate the break from climbing Mt. Cream Puff.“

“This was my first visit to a Meijer store. I was a bit overwhelmed at first because of the sheer size of it. I found that the produce selection was very fresh and well maintained. I wasn't very impressed by the deli options. I disliked the sushi here, like Giant Eagle, they do not season their sushi rice and the Wasabi was nasty. The meat selection was incredible, a gourmet delight if you have the money. I did feel that the store was clean, neatly organized, well stocked and awesome employees. I will say that the coffee aisle alone will make me come back regularly. As a true coffee snob, I was in heaven.

I didn't really look at the home side of the store since I was stopping by for a few things which turned into a lot of things. Side note, those small carts can hold a lot more than you would expect. It took more than one trip to bring all my groceries in.

I used their scan and buy feature to help speed up my visit. As it was my first time using it, I was slow. Lol. I did need some help to check out especially since I had such a large purchase. Any purchase over a certain amount requires an employee to verify a number of items. This hopefully keeps people honest and prevents loss.
Overall, I recommend you check them out even if it is farther away than your normal grocery store. Think of it as a Target/Walmart hybrid with better quality food.“

“I can’t begin to say enough good things about this little bakery. One, they’re inclusive by having vegan and gluten free items. As someone with a dairy allergy, this is heaven sent! I always find things for my husband, but it’s difficult to get myself a little treat at times because of no DF options.

Honey Bee Bakery is beyond adorable in aesthetics. They have a large picture window, table, bookshelf, and chairs you can sit and people watch. It’s also in Medina Commons so there’s extra tables and chairs right outside the shop.

Customer service? Stellar. Friendly, helpful, even asked if I wanted my husband’s normal sweets separated from my DF sweets. Now that is a respectful shop! Prices were very, very reasonable for what you get.

I got my husband a buckeye bar and lemon bar. For myself, two vegan brownies and a churro muffin. Haven’t tried the muffin yet. However, I do recommend splitting a vegan brownie 4 ways. It’s so thick and decadent I’m still nibbling on my first one. Heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds, and it just melts in your mouth.

10/10 definitely coming back here again! It also seems you can pre-order cakes and they take great pride in high quality.“

“I visited the store today. I got 5 macarons with my fiancé. The clerk was really nice and told us about their ingredients and offerings. The macarons are excellent and so satisfying to eat. Real eggs, milk and butter!

“Giant Eagle is a great place to do our weekly grocery shopping. The store is bright and clean and always fully stocked. The prices are a good value and you can usually find all of what your looking for. The best value often is there Market District store brand of products. I like that they still have the option of using live checkout clerks at the registers too. Best selection of nutritional supplements in a grocery store as well. Also my wife and daughter enjoy the bath and beauty selection.“

“My daughter and I have visited the Strongsville location a few times, and it’s always been a delicious treat! For a fun “coffee treat”, she loves their milk steamer with pumpkin spice flavoring. We haven’t ventured away from our usual, but the Nutella with strawberries and bananas is always delicious and so filling. She actually won’t stop talking about how good their Nutella is 😆 Their croissants are amazing, and everyone has always been so nice.“
