I was craving shrimp so I went to Bob Evans to get the steak tips and shrimp dinner. After I ordered the waitress told me they were out of shrimp and so I could have something else I chose the fish Which was OK, but it wasn’t shrimp and yet I was billed for shrimp not offered a reduction in price

The two restaurants that we normally frequent by ourselves or with family, and friends have gone downhill so badly. Twenty years ago to go there on a Sunday meant a long wait but good food and it was hot. Now the customers are thinning out and every time the food is cold and potatoes are dry and overcooked.

Waited 92 minutes for my online order (which was ordered 7 days in advance) after a 92 minute wait I finally just asked for a refund and left. The manager wasn't helpful or polite, seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. However the young girl working the counter was very polite, helpful and wonderful. Regardless what an awful experience to wait over an hour and a half for an order and to leave without a refund and empty handed.
I am blown away by this place every time I come here. I go out of my way to go to this specific restaurant because I've literally never had any issues and the food is always served in top tier quality. This is by far my favorite Bob Evans. I had the brunch for a bundle delivered this morning. After opening the stapled bags, I noticed 12 biscuits, an essential part of the sausage gravy, were missing. When I called, I was given the option to pick up the 12 biscuits, which defeats the purpose of paying a delivery fee and tipping the driver, or to receive a refund for "whatever the biscuits are worth." I chose the mystery refund. Now it's time to wait as "whatever the biscuits are worth" will take up to 5 days to be refunded.
