Update from 2 years ago, nothing worse than having a full cart at 10pm and you get up to the 20 registers and nobody is there to ring you out. I asked the self check out person if there would be someone to check me out. Her response, in about 15 minutes. I asked why she responded i have people on break. I responded you also have customers. This is a premier store that spends millions of dollars on advertising and products. Staff your stores. Just ridiculous, I left the cart maybe next time i guess, now you can put all the product back since you don't have anyone to provide customer service.. Great store, open til midnight every night. Dont make much sense to lock one of the doors at 10pm especially when you park in that handicap spot. Only complaint is the cashier looks at you to bag your own items. Not happening.

Recently they have been TERRIBLE for pickup orders. It’s never ready on time. I placed the order two days ago and it’s still not ready 35 minutes after the appointed time. What is so hard about this?

Ordered delivery for yesterday. It shows up at 6 am and 8 hours late. No call or message saying anything at all about order issues. Talked to the service desk. All they said was “gee sorry” terrible way to conduct business!! Giant eagle and Marc’s gets our grocery budget now.

Very unpleasant experience with Shipt delivery person. I inquired why I wasn't asked 'is there anything else?' before my order went to checkout- EVERY previous shopper I ever had asked me that. The shopper became extremely defensive. Long and short of it, Shipt shopper CANCELLED my order after it was already on its way to me. I had to reach out to multiple entities to complain and make sure that my payment was refunded. Many times I NEED delivery because chronic health issues keep me from being able to shop for myself. I give Brunswick Meijer 4 stars, this particular Shipt shopper should get NONE.

Came here to buy some food. Self check out had a problem, and I needed to wait for assistance, and no one came. There were no employees around. I ended up just leaving. Won't waste my time coming here again.

I went in for a few produce items. I also went through a live cashier. She was very unfriendly and rude. I said hi to her and she ignored me. After the transaction she handed me my receipt rudely and didn't even say have a nice day. The lady bagging with her was kind. I'm sure she had to make up her Co workers nasty attitude. Pull your videos and review your cashiers. Nobody needs that when we all have things we're personally going through.
This location can really be a roll of the dice depending on the day. On one hand It’s super clean, and everything is easy to find. It’s in a convenient location. Pharmacy is great at getting things done fast. On the other hand, I always have to check the expiration dates on stuff. I was looking at yogurt a couple days ago and it was over a month expired. I let a staff member close by know and the poor kid looked like he wanted to die when he walked over to fix it. A year or so ago my boyfriend bought a bbq sauce that was over A YEAR expired. Luckily he returned it with no problem, but this seems to be a consistent issue. I’ve had to wait at self checkout for 20 minutes because staff is busy with something else because the machine has accused me of theft for like the eighth time and staff has to go and fix it. Sports cards are always wiped out there, but they have a big issue with card theft. My biggest bone to pick with a pretty average and overall good location is the old boomer cart guy who always hassles me in the parking lot. I always put my cart back, he just doesn’t like how I do it I guess. Haven’t seen him since he was in a screaming match with some dude in a pickup truck so who knows. Overall the location is decent. Plenty of parking. Just please always check the expiration dates.

Order fresh fried chicken. Lady said it would take 7 mins, okay, no problem. Noticed a young gentlemen(5”8 ish with arm tattoo) walked to the front and grabbed the ready made fried chicken and brought it to the back. Suspicious. The lady came out with my food 5 minutes later. The fried chicken wasn’t fresh, it was cool/warm center and some of the wedges had mushes on it. If I wanted the ready made food, I would have grabbed it and not waste my time. This is just plain laziness. Only guy who does a great job there is the really tall nice guy who is there in the evening.
