I’ll give them some grace since they just reopened as Brankas but the service was slow. Took about 4-5 minutes to check out from the store area with only 4 items and some products weren’t labeled with a price.
Took a while to get me and my wife’s food and it didn’t really look like hot food area was organized well for the employees. When we did get the food it was great, especially the cabbage rolls and the german potato salad and the cherry strudel.
Upstairs was still under construction when we went and there was tools just laying about.
Wasn’t too bad. The portion sizes are large enough to share. Good service.
I visited to try some of their hot meals and ordered the schnitzel dinner, which came with German potato salad, spätzle, and sauerkraut balls. The standout dishes were definitely the German potato salad and the sauerkraut balls—both were delicious and tasted homemade. That said, the prices were a bit high, so I wouldn’t consider this a regular go-to spot.
This restaurant and shop was recently reopened by the folks behind Der Schnitzel Haus in Parma Heights. With the new management comes great sandwiches, beer, and other great German treats, while still keeping a lot of the pastries that made Rito's so good. Including the cannoli!
I had a brat sandwich which was perfect.
Super nice people, make sure to stop by soon.
Even though Rito's is officially closing, I'd still like to give a nice review. My wedding cake was one of the last they made, and it feels very special. I'm glad I got my cake from a local family business. The cake was delicious and delivered on time to my venue, and they worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. Thank you Rito's ❤️
Rito’s in Brunswick has always been a great spot for delicious cannoli. Their crispy shells and rich filling make them a standout treat. With the location closing soon, it’s a good time to stop by and enjoy one while you still can!
We ordered a decorated cake for a large 100 year anniversary of an Italian Club. The icing bled, the writing was messy, nothing was straight. We made sure the crowd of 250 knew that Rito’s created this disaster!!!
Want a nice place have they've been coming here for years they have a slice of pizza for two bucks they've been in business for 60 years that's telling they they do a quantity work and everything that's so fresh in here a me person I like love this place keep going strong with this ain't got nice you got pies cakes cookies corned beef hot corned beef sandwiches
I have been going to this bakery since 1962. Went to the one on west 130th and later to the one on pleasant valley rd. Both locations are now closed. I just made the trip to brunswick just before christmas 2024. Best items for me were the antipasta, marinated eggplant, hoagie rolls, and ital. Bread and the sheet pizza. I quit buying the pizza in early 2000's because the last one i bought was so bad and dry, i threw it out. But the bread, marinated eggplant snd rolls were famtastic

Went to Rito's for poppyseed roll for Christmas. Very dry and no flavor in the poppyseed with very little poppyseed throughout roll. Very dissappointed. Worst poppyseed roll I ever had.

1st time visit. We picked up a single serve cassatta cake. It was yummy. My only complaint is the layer of custard was very thin.

They have awesome donuts! I was a Cleveland Public School kid, who was bussed across town in the 1980s. One of the bus stops was across the street from Rito's Bakery, when it was on W. 130th St. in Cleveland, Ohio. We would see kids from that neighborhood getting on the bus eating donuts from Rito's. We had this really cool driver who would let the kids, who didn't live in that area, off of the school bus to get something from there, it was great! When I was in high school, in the 90s, Rito's was gone; I was bummed out, thinking they went out of business! I found out years later that they had moved to Brunswick....I was so happy!

I had never been here but came in with my husband and daughter. Every year on our anniversary we have carrot cake and I was thrilled to find out that they had one at the last minute. Super friendly staff! When we tried the cake tonight at home, we instantly feel in love! The frosting was creamy, thick and sweet and the spice in the cake was absolutely perfection! Even our daughter (3 yo and a picky eater) loves it! We will definitely be back and this will be our normal spot for our anniversary carrot cake from now on! Not to mention we had to get some of their famous cannolis which were also a major hit! Thank you!

Woman over the phone this morning was very rude to my lady, a little nicer to me when I called. Maybe don’t have her answer the phone? All we wanted was a two tiered plain white cannoli cake that serves roughly 50 people. We also emailed months ago, but no response.
