I have been going to this bakery since 1962. Went to the one on west 130th and later to the one on pleasant valley rd. Both locations are now closed. I just made the trip to brunswick just before christmas 2024. Best items for me were the antipasta, marinated eggplant, hoagie rolls, and ital. Bread and the sheet pizza. I quit buying the pizza in early 2000's because the last one i bought was so bad and dry, i threw it out. But the bread, marinated eggplant snd rolls were famtastic

Went to Rito's for poppyseed roll for Christmas. Very dry and no flavor in the poppyseed with very little poppyseed throughout roll. Very dissappointed. Worst poppyseed roll I ever had.

1st time visit. We picked up a single serve cassatta cake. It was yummy. My only complaint is the layer of custard was very thin.

They have awesome donuts! I was a Cleveland Public School kid, who was bussed across town in the 1980s. One of the bus stops was across the street from Rito's Bakery, when it was on W. 130th St. in Cleveland, Ohio. We would see kids from that neighborhood getting on the bus eating donuts from Rito's. We had this really cool driver who would let the kids, who didn't live in that area, off of the school bus to get something from there, it was great! When I was in high school, in the 90s, Rito's was gone; I was bummed out, thinking they went out of business! I found out years later that they had moved to Brunswick....I was so happy!

I had never been here but came in with my husband and daughter. Every year on our anniversary we have carrot cake and I was thrilled to find out that they had one at the last minute. Super friendly staff! When we tried the cake tonight at home, we instantly feel in love! The frosting was creamy, thick and sweet and the spice in the cake was absolutely perfection! Even our daughter (3 yo and a picky eater) loves it! We will definitely be back and this will be our normal spot for our anniversary carrot cake from now on! Not to mention we had to get some of their famous cannolis which were also a major hit! Thank you!

Woman over the phone this morning was very rude to my lady, a little nicer to me when I called. Maybe don’t have her answer the phone? All we wanted was a two tiered plain white cannoli cake that serves roughly 50 people. We also emailed months ago, but no response.

Family owned bakery that has been a favorite for those living in northeastern Ohio. They are especially known for their cannoli, which can be filled with any of their available filings. Everything looks and tastes delicious. There is a deli sandwich side that we have not tried yet.

The place is legit Italian. The smell is delightful and reminds me of an old fashioned italian deli/bakery in NYC. It's the best place to get a cake in Medina county and the only place you can find mortadella.

Used to go to the location in Parma Heights- it was OUTSTANDING. The Brunswick location is dirty (deli area has questionable storage methods) and the bakery and grocery are overpriced and mediocre. Nothing good ever lasts...

This is not an Italian bakery. If you have ever tasted actual italian homemade bakery you would not purchase from this place again. Cassata cake? More like a giant eagle cake with custard in it, disgusting and stale tasting. If you want good Italian bakery for your money I suggest you go to Baraona's bakery or Colozza's bakery .
