We had our engagement party there with about 25 people and it was so much fun! The workers are amazing and it is the perfect spot to have fun! The DJ that was there was awesome and the karaoke was so much fun!! I would highly recommend to anyone!!

The Backyard turned out to be the perfect option for our cousins 50th birthday celebration. The food and service were both great, especially since we had 15 people ordering food and drinks. We weren't sure if we were going to enjoy our outing since it was Karaoke night, but that ended up being quite the opposite. We all enjoyed the amazing singers and variety of songs. The DJ was friendly and the music at the perfect sound level. It wasn't too loud, and we were able to have conversations without having to yell. My cousins and I all agree we need to have more outings at the Backyard. If you like Karaoke, you definitely need to check them out on a Saturday night.

This is a mixed review. If you go with a group of people to hang out it's great, especially for the young bar crowd. The outdoor seating is nice, there is a lighted beach volleyball court thar is cool. There is also corn hole and other lawn games. Open bar area outside as well. Now the down side is that if you are going for a sit down dinner, this is not it. I understand this is similar to going to eat at a bar, but you would think that would include a waitress. Nobody served us at all. We had to go to the bar to get menus, then place our order, get drinks, refills, place order, get napkins, get silverware, get receipt, and pay bill. When we asked for ketchup they did send somebody out with 35 packets lol (there were only 2 of us)Parking: Decent sized lot but needs striped. When it gets dark you can't see and people make up spots especially after drinking

The Backyard is a great place to hangout. My friends and I frequent often in the summer for trivia and in the fall to watch our beloved Browns.Jay and his crew are top notch and treat you like family. Highly recommend this place. Family friendly too.
I went to this bar with a group of friends. When I walked in my friends immediately ordered drinks and did not get Id'd. We are all of age, including myself. I went to order a drink and they immediately id'd me which is completely understandable as I do look younger than my friends, but after giving them my out of state license (I go to college here) they denied me service and accused my license of being fake. I really tried convincing them it was real because it was, but the bartender working insisted it was fake. I just turned 21 in April, but i even pulled up instagram posts from my birth proving i was 21 lol. Anyways they were really rude about the whole ordeal and the manager claimed, "he didn't run a "white table cloth establishment" whatever that means. I think he was referring to the fact that I am from California, however I didn't grow up rich and wasn't even going to buy anything off their food menu because it was too expensive. One of their waiters came up to and said "if you're 21 than i'm 21." in such a rude way. I was continually telling the bartender that I understood it was her job to ID and I was in no way upset with her, and she literally mocked me after I said that. She had also served a person who WAS UNDERRAGE AND DID NOT ID THEM LMAO. It's just not how you run a company from a customer service aspect. I think the place was cool looking and had a nice vibe, but I couldn't get over how rude both the bartenders, staff, and even manager were to me. Would only recommend if you wear a pound of makeup and look 85 or if you want to be yelled at for having a perfectly valid drivers license.

Great neighborhood bar… drinks are good and cold, food is hot and fresh. service was great. They have Keno and pull tabs. They also had great live music on Saturday night. Prices are decent. They also have an awesome back patio area. I highly recommend checking it out.

A little disappointed that burgers had to be cooked well done, but great to be back to The Backyard. Service was great, met one of the new bartenders today (Nicole), the soda mix was bad on the cocktail, both bartenders insisted they make another one but NOT drinking that one would be a waste of good rum.Everybody was enjoying themselves, plenty to view on the television, have always liked the redesign that the previous owners did.Not sure who the owners are, will be heading up again Tuesday to check in with all my regulars HAHA.
