Having grown up in Bucyrus and never getting a chance to visit this joint until revisiting the town some 35 years later.. this bar is friggin cool!! So much cool history attached to here, from Al Capone and speakeasy’s to fighter pilots in desert storm, and. It to mention it’s the oldest bar in Ohio!!. The new owners are absolutely incredible people

If you love hometown small bars, this is a must stop. The bartender is a (self proclaimed) b*t*h, and made us feel right at home. This bar has history, I love hearing from staff about how a place has transformed over time - especially when it's for the better.

Went for a change of scenery and to shoot some pool. Seems to have a big biker clientele based on my only visit (Saturday night). Got some unwarranted stares but was left alone to shoot pool with a buddy. The other pool shooters were pretty cool.

Watched a band we know called the railers they were awesome we love the new owners of the horse shoe and the bar tender balie is the best!

Nice place after remodel, but only had 2 drinks at 4 dollars a piece and it cost 20 dollars, so keep a eye on your money if you go there. Not the most honest people.

This week was a great atmosphere. OH-TX BBQ was set up outside (awesome brisket and mac/cheese). Later was Jimmy Wade with live singing and acoustic guitar.
