Hadn't eaten here for a while so we went for dinner yesterday. Since we didn't have reservations so we got there around 4:00 because we wanted to be seated in the main dining room, which is pleasantly decorated & has views outside. No one greeted us upon entry so we had to call out to get the attention of the ladies talking in the back to get seated. Our server was pleasant & efficient. The bread we received when we ordered was homemade & delicious, much better than last time we visited. I ordered the pork schnitzel with mashed potatoes & asparagus. My hubby ordered the prime rib with mashed potatoes & crispy Brussels sprouts. I enjoyed the schnitzel & asparagus with delicious lemon hollandaise sauce but the potatoes were very dry. Hubby said his prime rib was medium rare just as he ordered but could have been more tender. He didn't like the peanuts in his Brussels sprouts & also said the potatoes were very dry. Not sure if we will return again. On a side note, the restaurant wasn't crowded yet so you could hear the staff laughing & joking around in the kitchen during our entire meal. I guess they don't have enough to keep them busy.

Lovely, quaint, cozy, historic inn. Great food; never had a bad meal in all the times we've been there. Attentive, friendly, helpful staff. Can't wait to go again!

Our waiter Kevin was wonderful also. He was attentive without bugging us. He gave great descriptions of the dishes that helped with our decisions on what to order. We will be back

We went with friends for dinner while visiting Chagrin Falls. This quaint little inn is perfect. Our server was prompt and efficient. We started with cocktails and Tater Kegs, which were excellent. Then I had the Perch Dinner, my husband had Chicken Parmesan, our friends had Pork Schnitzel and Shrimp Pasta. Everything was very good and portions were plentiful.
