A home comfort gem with lots of options and friendly service. The food is downright delicious. We ate off the breakfast side, but they also offer a lunch side. If you’re a John Wayne fan, make sure to drop in. I’ll definitely be revisiting the Whiffletree.
Stopped in for lunch the other day. Had a fine enough experience but there was one disappointment to note.
I ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and macaroni and cheese. For the most part the food was fine, but rather unremarkable.
The country fried streak was fine. Had a nice crunch to it. The gravy that was poured over it and the potatoes was really good. The gravy was the highlight of the meal. Just salty enough...

My wife and I enjoyed a very good breakfast, they were busy, later in the morning, with one server, but she did a great job. Food and service was excellent, as well as a great value. We will sure to return in the near future.
