Georgetown Tavern on the Hill

my husband and I went for a date day lunch something we don't ever do. he's never been here but I had and never had an issue so hey why not go somewhere new for him to try. the lady outside that took our order was super nice after placing the order we went inside and we were told the paper plates and napkins were on the shelf to help ourselves that was new then we sat down we got our drinks a 16 oz paper cup we thought well that's kinda small but refills right. no totally wrong. our appetizer was brought and tasted very good we ordered the pizza that's one thing famous for right.. it was sat on the table in a box. the lady said here ya go and however it was very tasteful we never saw a single employee again we ate and left we were not asked if we needed another drink if it was good nothing. like the customer service was beyond disappointing. 💔

Went today for lunch for our anniversary with our family. Disappointed that the beer we wanted was “not available “. Then our teenager asked for a non alcoholic slushie and we were told the slushie machines were down. So no go there either. Then we went to order food…. The fryers were down also. So only pizza and the salad bar were available …. So we obviously left and ate elsewhere Love the location. Not impressed with the food /service today.

Great atmosphere! Pizza was good the caprese salad and Bruschetta could use more olive oil, basil and balsamic. Tomatoes were very fresh and mozzarella too.

This is one of those places that you are so glad that you stopped in. The staff outside was on top of their game and made you feel welcome From the moment that you stepped up to the counter. The outside area is set up so that the view of the valley and town can be seen by almost everyone there. Tables abound! We brought our young dog and fit right in with everyone there. Great service and good food.

I was the chauffeur for a birthday celebration and this was one of their stops. While I didn't go inside, I did get to see the outside seating and the view, which I might add, is AMAZING!! There's even a beautiful fur-baby to help calm your spirit if you need it. Very friendly outdoor kitty.

Parking: The view from the top of that hill is amazing! GREAT photo opportunity!

Haven't been here over 10 years, wow, much bigger, large decks,,dining room, wine still very good, stayed for lunch and a glass of wine. We'll be back.
