The Bear's Den Steakhouse

After a 2 1/2 hr trip for this restaurant, We got seated right next to the door with a lot of traffic in and out on a cold day!! Our table size was about 2’ x 3’, very uncomfortable!! Our service was terrible!! Waited quite a while for her each time we needed her!! Our food was cooled, basically not hot!! The onion rings were full of grease! The mushrooms and onions over my Chicken was thick like a paste!! Yuck!! Just awful 😣 took forever to get the check and to pay!! We used to come here at least 2 times a yr but don’t think we’ll ever be back!! Something took a terrible turn!! So sorry to say!!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. The steaks are locally sourced. The appetizers are so good you don't want to save room for your meal. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms and scallop BBT croustini with a balsamic glaze. Wow! My husband's steak was cooked to perfection. Then the dessert! My daughter's German chocolate cheesecake was the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. The cream puffs are the size of a dinner plate.

Server was bothered because we ask for our cold hard butter that was unable to be spreed on to rolls, warmed up. When I requested a special new drink on the menu she tried talking me out of it telling me it has a horrible strong whiskey taste. I had to ask again just to get the drink I requested. My beef and noodles came and the beef wasn’t chewable I took two bites and had to remove it from my mouth it was so hard and fatty. I got it with sweet potato that was also cold I took one bite and sent my plate back. I did eat my salad. Rolls that was sent to the table was hard. When we ask for manager she said she wouldn’t remove my meal I ate the salad and the potato. Lol potato has one bite out of it. The main meal was the beef and noodles we drove a hour to try this place. Service was bad. My bf sweet potato was also cold. He said steak was ok

We are from out of town and got lucky to get in on black Friday to try this place. What a perfect place for a delicious meal and good drinks. Very warm and inviting atmosphere and food is local!!

We stopped for a late supper on our way to our relatives place. I ordered the ribeye, a loaded baked potato, and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. One of the best steaks and the best blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had! Service was amazing as well! We bookmarked this place so we know where to go next time we are in the area! 100% recommend!

Never had a single bad meal here. Service is always superior. On the pricier side, but you definitely pay for what you get! Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the ribeye!

My wife and I eat here every time we come to Guernsey County. I believe I just enjoyed the best filet mignon I've ever had! It was fork tender, seasoned perfectly and cooked to a perfect medium. I recommend the sweet corn fritters served with melted butter as an appetizer. Imagine cream corn in a crispy batter fried golden brown. Our server was friendly, professional and kept my glass of sweet tea full. We will absolutely come back again and again!

Best chicken bacon ranch wrap and fries I’ve ever had, seriously. Delicious and great portions. The inside atmosphere is cool and the waitress we had was very kind and funny. Service was fast as well.
