My husband and I are visiting from Indianapolis and saw a billboard with a bear on it. l loved the online menu and stopped in for a visit at about 3pm. The server was very wonderful, helped us place an order to our tastes and inormed us that two of the items (from our online viewing) that we wanted to try were unfortunately dinner items served after 4pm. We ordered rosemary lamb sandwich and Beef tips with noodles for our lunch.The food was absolutely delicious and unique from other restaurants that I have visited. I certainly did not expect to find this hidden gem on my trip but I am so grateful that we did! To our surprise, the server put in a request to the chef for the appetizers that we were interested in and we were able to take them with us to go! We are so humbled by our experience and will definitely refer our local friends. Thank you!

We had a fabulous dinning experience here tonight. We drove an hour just to dine here, and worth every mile. I had the BLT scallops for an appetizer, Very impressive. Tuscan chicken and chocolate peanutbutter cake for dessert. Everything was outstanding. It was nice to go out and have a beautiful meal and at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back.

Unbelievably long time to get our food! Arrived at 6:45 and are still waiting at 8:40pm. No food yet! Get here early. Not worth the wait.

Waitress took for ever on drinks 3 times. Steaks well i had to order A-1 for ribeye 1st time ever anywhere i am 56 years old.
Make the Bear's Den a destination, it's worth it. Wow! The 8oz fillet was delicious. The cut was ordered med-rare and that's how it arrived. The meat was very tender, full of flavor and had the texture of fresh beef. The salad dressing is made in house. The cheese curds were awesome as well. This is the second best beef I've ever ate. Only second to my family's beef which was fresh cut. For a restaurant to be able to get the beef to the table this fresh is a challenge. The Bear's Den is up to the challenge and nailed it! Thanks for a good steak!

The burger I had was great. The fries were old, greasy and limp. Frozen onion rings out of a bag, not an appetizer. I would go back for the burger. No lettuce because it too was old and limp.
