The food was disgusting. It’s just frozen food you be better off getting a microwave dinner. Got the rosemary chicken was dry and tough under seasoned taste of nothing but a dirty grill not flavor. The fries look like the fries from school pale not crispy disgusting mush, I use to work here the food actually had flavor food more variety and actually seasoned. This it just awful and very disappointing. Honestly ruined my day I wanted to come in and eat some good food. Not be reminded of disgusting school food. The server was nice and helpful but someone was running the sweeper the entire time we waited for our food and while we were eating it. Management of this place just needs to be fired they the reason why this place is loosing money and people.

Food is mediocre at best. Service is horrendous. I watched people wait to be seated for over 10 minutes for this restaurant that wasn't even half full. In fact, several families left they had been waiting for so long. There seems to be no front of house manager or even back of house manager from what I can tell. It appears that the cooks prepare food a table at a time so it takes FOREVER to be served. The menu is impressive as written, but is quite unimpressive at the table.
The pork chops were so salty they were borderline inedible. The rosemary chicken may have once been in the same room as rosemary. The mashed potatoes were unpleasant. The carrots were meh. I think the salad dressing was the decent thing served between my wife and I. Service was a little slow but otherwise fine. We got a view of the parking lot.

The slowest service. 10 minutes by the host stand before we were even acknowledged. Sat at our table for about 10 more minutes before a wait staff stopped by. Our order was placed and we waited over an hour before receiving our food. The food was pretty good thank goodness. All of this with the restaurant only having about 4 tables full. So you cant blame it on being busy. Would never come back simply because it wasted so much of our evening. A cool atmosphere and beautiful view.

Very nice atmosphere. Our Server was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend that management update the online menu. It has little or no relationship to the actual menu on site. The Server said one item we asked about, the Bigfoot Burger, hasn't been on the menu for 3 years!
So disappointing. We were staying there for Fathers Day weekend and my family drove two hours to eat with us. We assumed lodge dining would be great. Our server suggested an appetizer then came back ten minutes later to tell us they were out of it. The food was all overcooked and our waitress didn't bring drink refills or anything we asked for. I can't believe this is the food option in such a beautiful state park.
Great deal for good food. Generous portions. Servers were very kind. Good for kids

I have traveled to many states and eaten in quite a few restaurants. I can say for certain this is absolutely the worst rest I have ever been to. $7 piece of ham was tiny and cold. The rest of the $17 meal was no better. Hash browns were cold and soggy, eggs were not cooked how we asked at all. The toast was literally stale. Did not try sausage because of how gross it looked. Every single part of this “meal” was disappointing. Paper straws were horrible (PFAS is not better than plastic). Check was just a slip of paper no checkbook and for the price that’s ridiculous. Waited way too long for food. I would highly recommend anyone planning on going here to stay away because anything is better. No justification for this.

Wonderful dining experience and the staff goes out of their way to give the diners exactly what they need.
This is one of the better Ohio State Park Lodge restaurants that I've dined in. They have an updated menu with interesting choices. I appreciate what they've done to elevate the experience.
Impeccable service. They treated us very well.
What was served for the price - ridiculous! For reasons why: the bacon - not cooked, the salmon- so dry, and dessert selection - terrible. Will not be returning! Price is a rip off
The food took almost hour and a half to be in our table, after that, the food wasn’t hot at all, the food wasn’t the big thing, I couldn’t even finish eating it.
