Kennsington Golf Club & Grille

One of my favorite places to golf. Challenging course, well maintained, excellent greens, a lot of beautiful scenery.

Usually have very good experience with Kensington grill but tonight we ordered out from them and everything was terrible. The food usually very good but the hot chips were not cooked all the way through… we ordered chicken and shrimp and only received shrimp. Just very disappointed I usually love their food but the service through take out is clearly bad. Especially for the price

Beautiful course. The ruff is too high for a public course however. Spent a lot of time looking for golf balls that barely went off the fairway.

Greens were in great shape same with the fairways. Really nice course and great food!

This course was not in the best of shape earlier in the year but Vic got it back to the prestigious shape I was used too!! It took a little longer than usual to golf but it was still really awesome. I beat my friend Walker on the 2nd 9 we played by a couple strokes on the front 9 of the course. Thank you again Vic for encouraging us to give this course another shot!!! 😀 I had an awesome time. All staff and bartenders were super cool and friendly too!! =)

Great course, maintained well, beautiful layout

The food was good, our wait person had no personality whatsoever and was not even friendly. We get that this is a golf course, but to have loud, obnoxious, cigarette and cigar smoking drunk guys out on the veranda while we were trying to eat and talk does not work for us. Either don't seat diners outside during golfing hours or move the golfers somewhere else! Definitely won't make this mistake again...

What sticks to mind is that my family had to wait for more than an hour before our food came. I noticed that most tables were filled, however, there was only 1 or 2 servers that were moving from 1 table to another. It was Friday and management should have expected a busy night and scheduled more staff. My family all enjoyed our dinner and our server was quite attentive and personable. We will be returning to this restaurant but more likely not on a weekend. Hopefully our wait time to be served will not take more than an hour.

While in for a wedding we visited for their fish fry and this was a great deal. Fish was large portion, fries were crisped just right with perfect salting. The views of golf course from veranda were fantastic. The service was slow and felt like we were forgotten all evening was only reason for not rating higher.

Im giving Kensington a solid 4.5; well manicured, friendly staff, challenging with all the bunkers, accuracy a factor, carts are new and clean with gps, a couple quirky holes. And it feels like your playing professional course, except for some greens being affected by lack of ball marks being repaired, but it is public so somewhat expected. Greens do roll true, and are nicely laid out. We all just wish folks would be more responsible with the ball marks. The only reason I would not give a top rating is that really good golfers, not me, would not be that challenged on this course due to the lack of length and layout. For mid handicappers, it probably is a 5. Good experience, but not a course you would play regularly for the challenge due to lack of length. Everything else, a nice, pleasant, non stressful experience.
