Kennsington Golf Club & Grille

First time at Kensington. Walked from Hotel to enjoy dinner with my boss. We picked indoor table on the veranda. It was awful. So loud as the tables around us were shouting! Why? I have no idea. We could not have a convo. Will sit at the bar or outside next time. Food was good, decent. I had BlueCheese burger and it was excellent. Drinks were not on par with 5 star. Old Fashion was not on point. Not many choices in Canfield. Glad we had this option. Will likely return and try again on my next trip.

We enjoyed the experience, atmosphere is lovely. Buffalo chicken dip was great, including grilled chicken salad and Ala vodka pasta!

Good food with great service and good vibe. Set on a beautiful, scenic golf course. What more can you ask for?

Beautiful view from the veranda but room for improvement with air circulation. Service was slow but there were some large parties. Food especially the pierogies were very good.

Nice atmosphere, grew up coming here but the past year the service and food has gone downhill tremendously. Ashley E was very rude and inattentive - we have had her multiple times so it’s not “just a bad day”. Disappointed.

Was there before on a Friday sat at the bar with my husband had a wonderful experience then Fish dinner and Marsala was fantastic. Very disappointed in taste and size of portions versus before. My husband ordered Francaise sauce good but, a half breast basically cut into small pieces with lots of fat. Marsala barely had any sauce or mushrooms on it. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive I asked for more Marsala sauce just tasted like beef gravy super watered down. This is more of a sandwich place or appetizer place, sorry to say second time there and quality taste was not there. Went at 5:30 was not even busy. Overall score a 3

A large variety of menu choices! Great assortment of daily specials and entertainment! Very good!

Used to play here all the time. The layout is great but the conditions are not great. The greens are a minefield. The clubhouse and staff are the most unorganized unit I’ve seen in my entire life, no joke. No starter, backups on every hole. Save your money and go play at a real course like Reserve Run or either of the Mill Creek courses.

Edit: The range balls might as well be marbles with how beat up and smooth they are.

Service was very slow. Food was fair. Could not change the menu in any way. My husband was not able to change the fries that came with his fish sandwich for a side salad or coleslaw.

The food was terrible. I got the baked ziti, and the sauce was beyond bad. It tasted sour, and i could not get past a few bites. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi, which came loaded up on garlic, overpowering the rest of the dish. She didn't eat much of that either. Both meals came with "garlic bread," which was really toast covered in garlic salt which was really strong. Took an hour for the pre meal salads to hit the table. Long wait for crap food / service. We will not be coming back.

Food was terrible. The sauce for my ziti was sour and my wifes shrimp scampi had an enormous amount of garlic. Both dishes were horrible. It took 45 minutes for them to bring us a salad. Then another 15 mins passed and the appetizer was brought out with our entre. They also sat us outside where it was cold and the waitresses were scarce and non attentive. We will not be back. $65 for some crap. 1 star restaurant.

The Valentine's Day special was nothing but disappointing. It took forever for each course to arrive to the table and once it did arrive, it was cold.

First time and won't be the last! Really good food, loved the happy hour menu! We will be back!

Update: I did get a call from the staff today apologizing, I appreciate that and will update my review.

Had tee times for noon today. 4 of us drove over 20 miles to get there. Upon arrival we’re told they are closed. Some snow on the greens even though it’s 50 degrees today and sunny. But I can understand them not wanting play with those course conditions. But you did take my phone number when you took the reservation SO WHY NO COURTESY CALL TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE CLOSED? VERY INCONSIDERATE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

Food was good. Service was satisfactory. Reserved a standard table and was told we had a high top when we arrived. The hostess was very nice about changing the table.
