Was in canton over the weekend. Was interested in trying this place just to find out it is clearly closed. Per a bartender at a local bar it has been closed for 3 months. They need to update their website to indicate this so that other travels don't waste their time trying to visit.

We went here for a Girls Night Out. The wait staff was friendly, and she gave some good recommendations for dinner. The dining area upstairs could use some updating, especially the flooring. It didn’t have a nice clean look. The speakeasy downstairs is really nice and had live music when we were there. The downstairs was clean, and you can tell it had been updated more recently than the upstairs. The bathrooms were clean and had modern fixtures in them. The drinks we ordered were good, except for the Diet Coke. It just didn’t taste right. The menu is rather small, mostly pizzas and some sandwiches. We all ordered pizzas - The Bianca, The Queen Margharita, and The Cheese. The pizzas are the equivalent of a small pizza and overpriced. The pizzas were over cooked, but it wasn’t too noticeable except on the cheese pizza. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce, but I’m really picky when it comes to pizza sauce. Overall it was ok. I’m not sure that I would go back.

This is the 3rd time we tried Canton Brewing Company. The beer was good, but the food it mediocre. Not worth the price. There was 1 guy to seat and take our order. It wasn't very busy on a Friday afternoon, but our food and drinks took a long time to come to our table. This visit we all tried the Classic Schnitzel. It was dry and over cooked. The mustard sauce and kraut were good. Sad to say, this is the last time we will patronize Canton Brewing.

- Had to seat ourselves- Waited 10 minutes for menus- Place was empty took 30 mins to get food- Food was expensive and sub par- Charged you extra for paying with cardIf you want beer this place is probably good. I would highly NOT RECOMMEND for lunch to many other places downtown that give you better service, quality food, and pricing.

We had pizza here before and so we went tonight before our movie. We ordered and were later told after we ordered drinks that they weren't making pizza. Even though pizza was on their paper printed menus. So we had to guzzle drinks and move on to the next place for food. Management needs to let their staff know what is going on before they take orders. Very very limited menu.

If you drink beer, they have a craft beer you will enjoy. They have a huge selection.Speaking of huge, if you like soft pretzels, the HUGE served 11 of us. And both dips were a hit. Two full pounds of pretzel! If you enjoy German food, well you are in for a treat! The Alsatian sliced beef was tremendous! The schnitzel sandwich was thicker than I anticipated in a good way and awesome. While I'm no fan of bacon in my kraut, it was still very tasty. Their pizzas served more than one person and they were really good - or so I'm informed. We had 11 people, five of them were 14 and under and not a single complaint! Everyone left full and happy. And 11 meals for under $200 (including drinks, but no alcohol)! And that included $25 for a huge pretzel! How many restaurants can you think of where that happens? And paying cash saved us $10.Great service, phenomenal prices, fantastic food!We will return many times!

The food was excellent. I thought it would be bar food. Nope! It's fresh and tasty. Very clean and nice atmosphere. We are going to stop going to BV and start going to downtown. Then we topped it off with the Escape room (scheduled in advance). What a fun night ?

The beer was terrific and they offer a great selection of styles. We were there for lunch and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Service good, staff reporting to be new hires. Beer selections offer good variety to pick from, only missing one from their menu. Food okay, not stellar. Sauerkraut balls were ovened, not fried, hot but not crisp. "German" potato salad was bland- tasted mayo based, with no vinegar or bacon flavors (German ??). Schnitzel ok, crisp, seasoned. Sauerkraut side was unique, loaded with bacon- both items worth repeating. Green bean side was overcooked, soft, canned- blah.

Wonderful food and good drinks. Came to see Yankee Bravo play, they were excellent. Can't get food ordered downstairs in the speak easy, One must walk upstairs and order and wait then bring the food down. Not the best system unless you want to put obstacles in the way of customers purchasing your wares. Beautiful building.

Service was friendly. We sat at a booth and he was working the bar so kudos to him for doing both. Not very busy in a hot Saturday afternoon. Food is from the Hais of Giessen. Had I known we would not have waited to long to visit! I had the bratwurst with chips and potato salad and it was so good. Hubby ordered a pepperoni pizza. He said it was good. Lemon Shandy for me and a Gold Jacket for him. Good beer! Took pictures of the Speakeasy downstairs with no one in it. We can't wait to return to see it in action. Thank you a great lunch!

Went at 7:00 on a Friday night. It was not busy at all which we thought odd. We'd been there months before and it had been packed. We didn't think much of it and sat right down. Food was ok. Service was ok, but got the bill and thought it seemed a little high. So we compared the item amounts on the menu... We were charged more for a few items than we were supposed to have been charged. When I inquired, the server got defensive and angry saying "And that's my fault?" And walk off muttering under his breath. As we were walking out I decided I'd bring it up with a manager. So I talked to the bartender (he looked to be slightly older than others in the front of house). I asked if he was the manager. He said no. I asked who the manager. He points to our server. He sees me inquiring and comes back over to us, gesturing and quietly saying "Thanks, and please don't come back.".I've never seen anything like it. I can only imagine that may be why they were not busy on a Friday night. We will not be going back

Great beer, even greater location. Such a cool space. Make sure you go to the downstairs bathroom, trust me. Had pretzels and sauerkraut balls, both very good. Icarus double IPA was a delight.

Pizza was delicious and the beers were cold. Regular fountain drinks were flat or had no taste or too much syrup. But other than that. Great place to go!

Very cool atmosphere within the brewery. Have not tried the food but the bartender was very friendly. The selection of beers are wide in type but low in numbers. No matter what you like you'll find something you enjoy. The beers were delicious!
