Damascus Mediterranean Cuisine

My sister and I visited last week for lunch, and we will definitely return. The owner was very friendly and helpful, explaining the menu. The portions were plentiful. Very good food.

Small establishment and easy to miss in the plaza, unfortunately. This is the second or third time I've been here and it's wonderful... I favor the shawarma platter and the kofta. You will leave satisfied and full

I hate to do this because I wanted to love (and support) a small business but we had such a terrible experience I feel the need to warn others. We arrived right when it opened (along with the woman seemingly in charge) and waited a few mins for her to get situated.

We ordered drinks (BTW the $2 pop is a can). Then when she came to take our order, proceeded to tell us HALF of the (small) menu was unavailable. No beef. No lamb. No kibbeh. No lentil dish unless we wanted to wait 1h15m. So basically, chicken was the only option. Since we had all ordered drinks, we felt bad leaving.

I find it utterly ridiculous that she waited until AFTER we were seated AND had ordered drinks AND were ready to order to tell us.

So my warning to future patrons: call ahead if you have something specific in mind to eat. So so disappointing.

My husband and I normally frequent Aladdins Eatery, but decided to try Damascus today, and boy, are we glad that we did! This business is run by a daughter and mother team. They are from Syria and all of the seasonings come directly from there. This is authentic, flavorful and casual food and atmosphere. You won't be disappointed!! So.much.food!! We shared Chicken Shwarma and the Cauliflower App with a small side of Boba ganouch. All of it was amazing and our server so sweet!! Go visit them soon!

We were searching for an authentic Mediterranean restaurant in N Canton and found it in Damascus. Food was incredible, service was great and the portions were outstanding!This will become our go to place for Mediterranean!Great value as pricing was very fare.

The food was good, but there was no beef available. The chairs were still on the tables as we walked in, which wasn't really inviting. Next time we will order take out.

The woman who works the front is probably the sweetest woman I’ve ever met! I’ve been here 3x in 6 weeks and the food is constantly good!! The chicken kabob sandwich is my favorite!!

I absolutely love the food here - Mediterranean is my favorite to begin with, this is authentic and fresh. The fattoush salad is excellent, the hummus is on point, and if you're feeding a couple of people the combo with the kefta, chicken and shawarma is a great choice!

My boyfriend and I tried their falafel, fried cauliflower, mujadara, and chicken shwarma plate (with fries and delicious hummus), and then had arabic coffee and tea to drink. Everything was amazing and tasted just like my Teta's cooking. I cannot stress how good and fresh everything was. The owner is so friendly and lovely to talk to. I thought the prices here were very fair too. I ate and ate and still had so much food we had to take it home in multiple containers! It was enough for a full lunch for both of us the next day. I can't wait to come back and eat some more!

Vegetarian options: There is plenty for a vegetarian to eat and enjoy here! I recommend appetizers like fried cauliflower or falafel and the mujadara plate.

Parking: There is a nice parking lot right in front of the resturaunt.
