haven't been there for 50 years. still as good or better FISH !!!!! i probably wont wait another 50 yrs !!! some people say it is a bad bar after supper!! dont go then.

Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was due to patty melt being a little burnt, really should have been redone by the chef. Hubby had grilled cajun chicken salad & said it was delicious! I had gin & tonics for $2.50 apiece, was their house gin but still tasted fine! Beer appeared to be all in cand but a big selection! Will definitely return when in the area again!

Excellent place to let your hair down chill have nice drink or a cold beer and great food. I highly recommend it.

We had the zucchini planks appetizer and the 2 piece fish dinner. Everything was very good. The fish were nice size pieces of cod, the fries were excellent and fresh cut ….unless you prefer steak fries (My husband ordered those). It was plenty of food. The zucchini planks were very good, we cannot find planks anywhere in Canton, Ohio…only here! This restaurant is very small inside. Approximately 5 tables and a huge seating area around the bar. This establishment has been here for decades but it was my first visit. I will definitely be back. We were told to try the burgers, the hamburger meat apparently comes from a local meat market and our server, Ardee, highly recommends them. Ardee, was very efficient and personable. The owner made it a point to come introduce himself which was ver nice of him. If I were going to be picky, I’d say, I prefer my fried cod to have a bit crunchy batter but it was still very very good fried cod. Also, Ardee told us, we could request pan fried cod too. Overall very good experience.

When I moved to Canton in early 2000s, people recommended a particular tavern to get a good fish fry. I did. It was good. Just good. Then I went to the White Crown, and the fish fry was fantastic! Absolutely the best in town. Their burgers are great, with grilled buns and a variety of toppings. Don't forget to get their fresh cut fries too! Steak dinners we had were tender, nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked. Their prices are very reasonable and service has always been top notch.

Four of us stopped in for sandwiches on a Monday. The place is clean and well laid out and they followed all covid regulations. My half pound burger and fresh cut fries were good and none of the others had complaints. We had heard that they were packed the previous Friday (it is during Lent) and they sold over 760 pieces of fish on that day and there was a 2.5 hour waiting delay to order. This is a small neighborhood bar so that is extremely impressive and says a lot about their fish. I must also add that their prices are more than fair.

Best fish in stark county. Great food and service at a reasonable price and that is the same every visit.

Fried fish, baked potato and a side of salad...delicious, reasonably priced and quick, but don't go later in the day, as the Bar/ restaurant may be filled with "Happy Revelers." Best Fish in Town...by far. Highly recommend it and the price is very reasonable. Located behind Aultman Hospital. Don't be deterred by the looks of the outside, and don't go after 12:00-1:00pm. Just saying'...Delicious!

Small place with friendly people both in the place and running it. Very Good service. Went on a Friday night and liked the atmosphere. I had an awesome cheeseburger. My wife ordered the steak which is a Friday feature. Said it was great. Good quality. Cozy and sort of reminiscent of the old days.
