We used Dishes By Design to cater our wedding 10-10-2025 and it was nothing short of phenomenal! Melissa and her team were absolutely fantastic! My husband and I live out of state so we sent my parents to taste all of the food for the different catering companies we were choosing from. After leaving the tasting Dished By Design held, my parents called us saying this was the one to go with hands down! Not only from how amazing the food was, but hoe friendly the staff were! My husband and I were able to schedule a day to come in and taste the food ourselves and we agreed. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu! They have so many options to choose from, for appetizers we went with their Sweet Soy Glazed Bacon Wrapped Chicken and Water Chestnuts, Raspberry Brie Bites, Apricot Chili Meatballs, and the Fresh Fruit Display. The guests loved the appetizers and her staff saved some for my husband and I to enjoy before dinner after our first dance which we greatly appreciated!! For the dinner portion, we chose the Fall apple salad to start off with which is so flavorful and yummy! Then for the main course, we selected the Slow Roasted Beef in Au Jus Sauce (which is to die for and everyone loved it!) the Creamy Tuscan Chicken (which was so tender and delicious!), for sides we choose the Garlic Redskin Mashed Potatoes, Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese and Seasonal Roasted Vegetables with Balsamic Drizzle. We received so many compliments on our food and how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! (& we agree!). Melissa not only helped make our day go smooth, she also was flexible with last minute changes that we appreciated so much! At the end of the night her staff put all of our leftovers in containers and we were able to enjoy our wedding food for the rest of the weekend as well which we loved!! Melissa and her team are phenomenal and we will be using them again in the future!!

If I could give Dishes by Design 100 stars- I would! You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not book them to cater your special event. They catered my wedding in July, and I can not say enough good things about them. First, I had to do a last-minute switch. I had another caterer picked out, however, I realized they did not provide services I wanted, such as water service, silverware, plates, coffee service, etc. And guess what? Dishes by Design does ALL of that and more. Their staff went above and beyond. They helped set my tables, and every person on their staff was kind and extremely professional. Also, I will tell you, they were basically the same price as my previous caterer and did so much more. I haven't gotten to the best part- the food was incredible. Everyone praised their meal. Also, they packed up the leftovers at the end of the night, and I literally just enjoyed the last of the frozen leftovers, and they were delicious still! They also set up my dessert table, and it was INCREDIBLE. They truly let me enjoy my day, because I had full trust that they would handle everything they said they would. They were very communicative and easy to work with as well. I am truly so thankful for Dishes by Design. Thank you for making my vision come to life!

The selection was diverse and beautifully presented, with an array of cheeses, cured meats, dips, and breads. For dinner, DBD seamlessly facilitated a buffet for 130 guests. The setup was efficient, and the food was abundant and hot. Despite the large number of guests, the service was smooth and timely, ensuring that everyone enjoyed their meal without any delays. We ordered the Bruscetta Chicken, Beef Brisket, White Chedder Mac and Cheese, Green Beans and New Baby Potatoes. Our guests seriously have not stopped raving about the food, specifically the Brisket and Mac and Cheese! We are biased, but we both agree that this was one of the best wedding meals we’ve ever had! One of the most impressive aspects of working with DBD was the effortless decision-making process. Communication was terrible.
I emailed the company and they told me my date was available. We were interested so I emailed back asking to place a deposit to secure the date. I didn’t receive an email back from Toni so when a week went by I sent a follow-up email. Then, after an additional few days, when I still did not hear anything, I called the company and they let me know that Toni was unavailable and would call me back.
Toni reached out to me via text on Wednesday and we set up a time to talk on that Friday. When we spoke on the phone Toni apologized and let me know there was a issue with scheduling and she would have to check if they could fit my wedding in. She said she would give me a call back that same day, however I did not receive any call.
On Monday I texted Toni stating I need an answer today, and she apologized and said someone was supposed to contact me over the weekend to tell me they could not cater my wedding. Extremely unprofessional and horrible communication all around. We were really excited originally but now all we have done is waste a lot of time due to lack of communication.

Toni was so great to work with. The taste testing was so hard because everything was so dang delicious! Toni and her staff made our wedding night dinner go so smoothly! We had compliments all evening and the next few days! We can’t recommend them enough.
