We recently tried Fronimo’s in downtown Canton and had a great experience. The place was busy, so service was a little slow, but honestly, it gave us more time to relax and enjoy the evening. The menu had a solid selection!
We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit more on the “fried” side than the tomato flavor coming through, but still very tasty and I’d order them again. I had the scallop special with rice pilaf, and they were hands down the most tender scallops I’ve had in years. My wife had the pork cutlets, which were excellent. Between the atmosphere, food, and friendly staff, we left full and happy—no leftovers here!

The plate portions could be a little bit bigger however the food is pretty good. Cocktail and wines are good and the service is nice. The place could be a little bit bigger because it feels a little bit confined it is a small place but very artsy.

The food here is exquisite! Throughly enjoyed the eggplant stack (3 large slices of eggplant parmesan stacked on top of each other. The herb focaccia bread and roasted red pepper dipping sauce is divine. Strawberry cheesecake was delicious.
I just had an outstanding steak tonight! Salad, sides, the BREAD… very very good. I love all the local spots but this was far better than Lucca and as good as Benders or better but $20 less for an enormous and perfectly cooked Strip Steak. The bartender was sweet and attentive even on a busy night. I walked out very happy with leftovers (which is quite rare). Look forward to coming back, this is what downtown should be like!

Drove 50 minutes to eat here, only to be told that the open seats at the bar were reserved. The website does not say anything about reservations for the tables or the bars. Hostess said “I’ve never looked at the website.” Won’t be heading back.

Not a very good experience was there last night the fish with potatoes. Was very very dry no flavor was not worth it for $34. Did not even finish my food. Also the server didn't even ask how the meal was she just took the half feet and play and brought it to the back very disappointing.

We each started off with an old fashioned. We ordered a few different small plates to share and all were delicious. The veal meatballs with hot peppers that were actually hot, luscious. The berry crunch salad was tasty and refreshing. I got the special soup of the night, chicken pazole. I appreciated that it wasn’t too salty. My favorite of the night was the smoked salmon canapés, chef’s kiss! We also tried the scallops special which was also very good.
