If you're looking for a dive bar with great food(burgers for me), this is the spot. Drove down from Perry, OH and completely worth it. Can't wait to get back.

This is a good place.

They were so accommodating to our party of 14. We were at the Palace Theater and wanted a late night place to eat for a group of adults with kids. They reserved their back room for us and the food and service were better than we expected. Definitely recommend, especially for late night eats!

Just a hole in the wall bar, but the food and service was excellent. Wednesday is $6 burger night if you buy a drink

Fun place! Highly recommend the burgers! Check them out on Wednesday's. Drinks, milkshakes, small plates, good stuff. Fun friendly staff!

Took over ten minutes to get an order in for even just the drinks. The waitress took forever doing anything and really didn't seem to care about anything, she forgot our appetizer. Fries were undercooked. The burger was great and the music was too. We've been here before but sat at the bar and we were much more satisfied with that experience.

Great little dive with live music and quite good burgers.

Love this place. Classic old school 1950’s semi-dive bar. Food was fantastic. Had the John Wayne burger and fries which were excellent. My traveling companion remarked on the “firmness” of the fries, which enhances the flavorific experience. The biggest thing I noticed about this place, no tv’s… so go there. Put your phone away, and just enjoy the company of a lovely burger, cold brew, and a view of that sweet Formica bar top! Highly recommend.

So I went to George’s Lounge tonight as I have many times before to eat and hear local music. But tonight was a little different cause I brought my whole family for the experience. We have two little ones who got full meals just like we did and we all got there wonderful milkshakes for dessert.
However, my burger was basically raw. I very much enjoy their food so I planned on just letting the waitress know next time she came back around. So one by one, our drinks emptied and no waitress. When she did come to our table I prefaced my complaint about the very raw burger by explaining I LOVE their food. If you’ve been to George’s Lounge you understand paying for 4 meals and some shakes is well over $100 so I expected there to be better customer service when dealing with my food. The waitress said something along the lines of “yeah well that’s just how they come. Someone else complained about it earlier” so I explained when ordering the burger the choice was medium and well and we even chatted about medium meaning a pink center. I paid full price for my meal that I couldn’t eat and probably won’t be back due to the lack of attentiveness and handling the situation so poorly. I’m not the type to make a scene and I’m not gonna demand free food. Just a bummer cause I thought highly of the restaurant and bar.

Some businesses like to keep the same decor. However, I would like to see updates! IMHO. Everything else is OK. Especially like the fact that they have a stage for music! Outside patio for warm weather is a plus, also. Cozy.

Great food! The fries were so good I didn't even use ketchup. Also they got veggie burgers for my fellow vegetarians

Service was ok, but burgers were not good. Ordered Medium rare came out well done, other burger was ordered well done, and they charged extra fee to cook it well done. Fried items tasted of old grease.
