Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Honestly this place 10 years ago used to be so good and way cheaper. Now its 45 dollars for 2 people and the food just isn't very good anymore. My steaks yesterday were slathered in butter and sprinkled in parmesan cheese? Like what it that about? It was very tough and almost flavorless. The pot roast and vegetables which are usually a favorite was simply not good. Bland and had an odd flavor to them. Almost like plastic. The lettuce for salads were brown around the edges and didn't look very fresh at all. Some of the plates still had bits of food on them. Most of the food on display looked old and dry. You used to be able to get so much food for you buck and now its overpriced and the food is no better than some backwater hospital food. Its so sad to see because this place used to be a favorite and a family go-to back in the day. Its seriously gone downhill. Our waiter was nice and attentive and the drinks were good. The mashed potatoes and gravy were at least flavorful and edible somewhat. The rolls were a bit hard but they were still ok.
Seriously though, very disappointed overall.

Hot food was cold. Salad bar was very good. Vanilla ice cream worked but the swirl and chocolate ice cream came out like liquid. No jello or pudding on the dessert bar. We were very disappointed in this visit to the Golden Corral.

Food is always good but there needs to be separate food for the children. Too much cross contamination. Service is usually excellent but as always there are exceptions. Last time there a child puked all way to restroom and hadn't been cleaned up for over 10 minutes then we stepped over it to leave.

The food seemed like it had been sitting there for hours, cold and in some cases crusted over. Poor selection of food and I will not be returning.

This place is complete trash place is disgusting carpets are nasty tables are greasy the food is worst hardly anything out to eat or is burnt and old no flavor and how can you mess up mac n cheese really was complete mush most of the time you get dirty looks from the workers had family come in to town and took them here and I was embarrassed of this place the only good was the quick and polite waitress almost feel bad for her haveing to work in that environment

If I could give zero stars I would.... yall this is probably not surprising to you but one day when my partner and I went to Golden corral we came across a cockroach just crawling along the food bar. We got the attention of 3, yes 3 different employees. One didn't say anything, he just swept the roach off the table with the food on it with a dirty rag he used on a table before (yes I know normally they wipe messes with a sanitizer solution and a rag but this guy literally wiped a table, swiped the roach and went back to wiping a table with. O spray or bucket, absolutely disgusting). We informed our waitress and she seemed genuinely concerned. This prompted the 3 person, the manager. Now I wasent trying to be rude, I kindly went and told the staff just to be met with coupons for 2 free meals on our next visit.... yall there won't be a next visit this is grotesque.

Lady at register wouldn't get off her phone long enough to fully ring us out, had to stop 3x to tend to her phone before she continued ringing us out.
Was very hot in the building was less humid outside
Only thing good was our waiter making sure out drinks was constantly full

The lady wasnt at register when we walked in waited almost 5 mins for her to walk up on her phone shopping couldnt even bother to gret us just what do u want. Had to wait 10 mins for the server to bring us silverware to eat spent most of his time with his favorite customers and on his phone in a corner. I don't go here much but I won't be back

The food was horrible. The place was filthy and had no AC so it was extremely hot and the workers were all sweating so I'm sure some nasty sweat got into the food. They had a whole section blocked off for a birthday party but there were about 7 empty tables in that section that was blocked off. Our waitress was nice and was very good at keeping up with drinks and clearing plates. Everything else was just nasty. 5 out of 8 of us got felt sick after eating. No thanks. Won't be back.
