Granite Grille At the Quarry

Besides a few shortcomings, our overall experience at the Quarry was enjoyable. We dined with a group of 12 and arrived on time for our reservation, but we received our entrees two hours later.
Service was very slow, mostly due to low staff available on a Friday evening. Food was delivered in 5 minute increments, so by the time the last person got their meal, the first to be served were already finished. There was live music on the patio, which was a nice touch, but was so loud that we could not hear the person sitting next to us talk.
On the positive side, the food tasted good, the drinks were affordable and well made, and the view of the golf course was serene.
In the end, I would recommend an enjoyable evening at the Granite Grille at the Quarry on a weekday evening before it gets too busy.

I âge supper last night 08/02/2024 @5:42PM again with a large group and ordered a medium 8 oz burger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms & onion rings check #255 from Server Kaylee A.

The burger was so dry and overcooked I ate less than half of it and threw away the rest if it. So I told Kaylee of my experience and she didn’t offer to have another burger cooked correctly or that she would tell the chief. She didn’t ever say even say sorry about your experience of our food.

So why even ask how we want our burger cooked if you are just going to cooked it well done and burnt???

Had a taco Thursday late lunch. Steak tacos are the best. Kaylee was an awesome server. PERFECT afternoon lunch.

Our waitress did her job,bravo. The beautifully meticulous patio,bravo. The food substandard as i ordered a ceasar salad with chicken as entrée. It was not a typical ceasar, and the portion of chicken modest at best. My friend, with a very healthy appetite ordered a pasta dish a child's portion ,? with no salad or bread. Waitress explained the chef had the day off. Everyone deserves a day off...but the show must go on. Good luck!

Nice outdoor seating! Food is good, they have a decent wine list. You can’t beat $20 for a bottle of wine! However, the cigar smoking that is allowed is a problem. Both my husband and I have some asthma issues. We asked to be seated as far away from the smokers as possible. The server was very accommodating and friendly. . . But you can still smell it. We were going to get our food to go but fortunately they left and we were able to enjoy the rest of our dinner there. It really shouldn’t be allowed, period. Other than that it is nice and we would go more often if it wasn’t for that. Hope this is something management can take into consideration.

So let me start this review DOES NOT reflect out waitress. She on a scale of 1 to 10 she was a 15 no two ways about it.This was our first time there though our friends had been there prior.We place our drink order and those came out fine. After reviewing the menu just wanted something simple. So I ordered Fish and Chips but requested rice -vs- fries. Again no big deal. Our party asked about the vegetable of the day which was green beans but they only had two orders left. Again no big deal. So all place our order. A few minutes later our waitress comes back to inform us "We are out of fried rice" now keep in mind numerous dishes have that as an included side. So we all have to change that. I requested shrimp and the others requested mashed potatoes. Appetizers comes out; fried pickles; those were really good. After a few minutes our waitress proceeds to state "We are out of mashed potatoes" So now they are out of green beans, fried rice, and now mashed potatoes. As we sit there we notice a table close to use who arrived after us has now gotten there order and we have yet to get ours. The food runners start bringing out our sides. Now this is where it gets ridiculous My girlfriend ordered a side salad with oil and vinegar. The food runner proceeds to state "We are out of oil and vinegar what else would you like?" So now we are at a place that has no fried rice, green beans, mashed potatoes, and now has no oil and vinegar. Our waitress was a trooper about all this. In the mean time the table close to use gets there food, eats, pays, and leaves. We have yet to get ours. Finally our food arrives. My fish and chips that I ordered w/o fries come with fries, my shrimp, and my side of soup. All of which were cold. At this point it would be pointless to say anything so I made jokes about "Well I ordered fried shrimp but got shrimp cocktail."What we did have was not bad overall in all honesty. I did ask the waitress to take a note to the chef where I told him to go back to McDonald's cause obviously this is to much for him to handle. Be it right or wrong just something needed to be said. The right thing that should have been done would have been to have the manager come out and talk to us without asking but that did not happen.The positive is this though our waitress was able to get all our meals comped for all the hassles and issues. For that we are all grateful and was not expected.Will we go back again yes as I am a firm believer of things do happen and I will give a place a second chance. So we will see when that is and how it goes. Atmosphere was very nice!

Awesome restaurant for your after golf lunch or dinner. Large outdoor horseshoe bar and plenty of tables overlooking the 18th hole. Friendly staff and my burger was amazing!

Food was okay, but nothing really special. Fish and chips - fish was mushy, chips were good. Chicken cobb salad - chicken grilled and dry. Pumpkin cheesecake not much flavor and soft not firm like real cheesecake.

I went today for a work dinner and they forgot about my order, which happens. But when I asked them about my order as my colleagues were eating they acting surprised that I had ordered, even though I was sitting at a table of 9 where everyone else was eating. When they finally brought the food I still didn’t have silverware or dressing (I ordered a salad). A few minutes later I asked the waitress for both and then she finally told me that they didn’t have chipotle ranch but they had ranch - if that was ok. At this point. Obviously yes it was as my co-workers were now done and waiting for me to eat (and watching me). She offered me a beer and I accepted but it was served to me about 20 minutes later after we had paid the bill and were ready to leave. Really awkward dinner. The food was ok and the view was pretty good but I would not go back to granite grill and wouldn’t recommend it unless you are golfing there and it’s a convenience thing.
