It is small, cozy actually, but patrons are never rushed, and the food is the best Italian that we have found in the area. Reservations can be tough to find on weekends so be sure to book, early.

We had reservations and were a little early, and were able to be seated right away which was very nice. Our table was in somewhat of an awkward spot, next to what appeared to be a staging area for music or bands and also where it appeared to be a staging area for plates, napkins, etc., so it wasn't very picturesque. We were also right by the Kitchen doors and bathrooms. So the location of our table wasn't ideal, we would have hoped for more of a private quiet setting.

Great service from our server Anna. The place was full but quiet, which made for easy conversation. My wife and I started with the antipasto app along with their homemade bread and seasoned oil. We had a very nice bottle of a California red blend, which Anna recommended. Our main courses were Gnocchi Pomodoro (potato gnocchi with a simple tomato sauce) and Bolognese (homemade pasta with a braised veal and pork sauce). Both were excellent. I suppose the best compliment I can give is that we just came back from a couple weeks in Rome and Tuscany and the food at Lucca was just as good. It was a great evening.

One of my most favorite places we always have a great experience with our food and service. However, tonight the service was absolutely horrendous. For spending $200 for two people for dinner you would expect your server to at least bring you what you asked for I asked for one glass of wine. I was told at least seven times that they were too busy. It was my birthday. I was really looking forward to a wonderful evening. I even told my friends who came with us how amazing this place was they were underwhelmed by the horrible service. The highlight of the evening is always the food. It was great however, your staff I don’t know what was going on. We’ve never seen this server before, but I would definitely request never to have her again as a fellow server and restaurant owner, I expect better. In addition, it took her 45 minutes to take her order because she said she was too busy Assisting other tables and she did not have time to take our order! Very disappointing!
It was difficult to decide which delicious dish to choose! The fresh fish was perfect and the pasta dishes and flavors cannot be beat. Always start with a meatball. Always. This is one of my favorite spots.

The crab fettuccine was excellent. The serving was generous - had leftovers the next day and it was just as good. My husband had the halibut special and also enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to going back soon!
